You could buy pallet loads of Snickers, if you like them, then freeze them until urge kicks in.

Buy them from Tesco bogoff and you'll get loads of points. They are worth four times theyre face value at certain health clubs....to help you burn of the chocolates....

I dont mind eggs or milk products as a ingredient in products, however I draw the line on this type of ingredient added

I dont see why the have to do this, they will loose sales over this. When is now becoming popular to be vegetarian which is partly due to the scare stories we all here, how can this be commercial sense?

I don't see the reasoning behind using an animal product in this kind of product, it doesn't make logic to me. I don't eat many things like this but the animal product being added to this really puts me off buying anything like this. I agree they will lose allot of customers. Thanks for the warning.

    I'm a veggie of 25 years standing ('Cos I prefer it - not a bunny hugger:D )

Keep signing the petition listed earlier - maybe they will change their mind.

If not, it's goodbye Twix and hello Fruit & Nut:p

This has made me so cross too, not that some of the posters here will sympathise judging by some of the responses ;) I have vegetarian children and how am I supposed to explain that some sweets they have been allowed before are now off limits? Not that they live off sugary things but we're talking about a 22 month old going to the shop with her gran to buy a pack of MilkyBar Stars

Wow that petition has grown today

[/SIZE]The recipe hasn’t changed, but the multinational food giant’s sourcing policies have. Despite plentiful supplies of vegetarian whey, a by-product of the cheese-making process, Masterfoods can no longer differentiate between suppliers using animal rennet and those that don’t. The company’s astonishing claim that it made a “principled decision to admit it was not guaranteed to be vegetarian” has to ring a few alarm bells. Are they saying that they considered lying? Does it mean there are other uncomfortable truths they prefer not to come clean about?

Rennet is an enzyme for digesting milk, seems slightly middle ground here, it's not exactly meat or gelatine and would seem to be more closely on the same sort of level as dairy products which would suggest it should only really affect vegans or the strictest of vegetarians. Does seem like an odd decision to make although reaidng into it it seems more to be the case that their suppliers are no longer distinguishing between the two types of Rennet (direct animal product or dairy by product) Agian though base don what rennet actually is i'm not sure if saying the products are no longer suitable for vegetarians (vegans it's definitely not ok for anymore) is maybe too far and just merely that they are covering themselves
