They might give a damn if they loose a lot of sales, I dont want to hurt the company or put people out of work, I do however think it is a stupid decision particularly as being Veggie is getting very common.

Lets hope they change there minds

it's not only vegetarians that will have to stop eating mars bars and so on.. so will muslims as I'm sure that the rennet isn't halal and jews as it won't be kosher & so on..

though hindu's are meant to be veg anyway, the back its from calves means even non veg hindus wont eat it

So it effects Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Vegetarians and Vegans.

Its no great loss to find that a sugar driven fatty favourite like Mars, Snickers etc are going to cheaper lengths to maximise profits. Those sweets are quite bad for people anyway.

Dont forget most of the chocolate bars were first tested on Animals before being allowed to be consumed by the public. MARS used to rub thier chocolates onto chimps teeths continuously to see how long it would take for teeth to rot away.
