Some of the UK's best-selling chocolate bars, such as Mars and Twix, will no longer be suitable for vegetarians.

Masterfoods said it had started using rennet from 1 May and non-affected products had a "best before date" up to 1 October.

i dont see what the big deal is.

most veggies, or people who claim to be still eat fish. thats an animal.

it will be the small few vegans that are truely affected by this. no big deal, theres always plenty of alternatives anywho.

No vegetarians eat fish. There are however people who eat fish and misappropriate the label of vegetarian because they fail to understand what the concept of vegetarianism means.

I dont mind eggs or milk products as a ingredient in products, however I draw the line on this type of ingredient added

I dont see why the have to do this, they will loose sales over this. When is now becoming popular to be vegetarian which is partly due to the scare stories we all here, how can this be commercial sense?

They're not veggies even if they choose to call themselves veggies. Anyone can use a label, but their actions will prove the validity of it.

I don't care who's veggie and who isn't; I just object to the misuse of language.

Ring up Msterfoods and complain I have emailed then and just spoke to them, they may well change there mind as our complaints have been logged and passed on to there marketing department

whatever man i'm not the one claiming to be veggie but there is a loophole argument they use i just cant remember what it is
