FREE Software Unlock For Nokia BB5 6630,6680,6681,N70,N71 N90 and N91

just seen some adverts claiming that a nokia 6280 can be unlocked...is this possible now?

Can anyone help me out.

I have a prolific dku-5 cable anda installed it with the correct drivers. But now when i try to update to usb2vcom driver i get the message that "the specified location does not have information about your hardware".

Can anyone tell me how i can solve this?

I remember reading it some where that BB5 unlocker can unlock Nokia 6280 v3.7, I tried but endup with currupted system of some sort so cant really say for sure.
If some one has used BB5 unlocker to unlock 6280 v3.7, could you please explain how to do it. Thanks

im sure you cant do the 6280 with the free s/w

Hi Im looking to try and unlock my nokia n73 currently on orange, I assume this needs a cable to be unlocked ?

Unfortunately, you'll need a different cable- I too originally had a 6 pin cable with a prolific driver, and tried (and tried, and tried...) to install the usb2vcom driver... eventually, I bought a new 13-pin cable from a seller on ebay:

which costs £2.98 including postage, and will definitely work with the software(it comes with the usb2vcom driver on the disc)... Hope this helps
