Talk Talk - when you visit their site, there is a nice voucher included which needs no code and applies automatically.
So can we enjoy both that and the cashback?
Update - I just tried clicking through from a cashback site, and the voucher offer does not appear. Clever. I guess it's choose one or the other then. And the voucher is considerably bigger than your cashback even if it tracks and pays. No contest.0 -

I've got the same situation with TCB and Tyre Savings for a transaction in July 2013.
The last time I asked about it I had this back in a reply -As your transaction was made while Tyre Savings was a merchant on our site then there is still a possibility that this will be paid but please be aware that we could not 100% guarantee this for you.
There is a note in the terms and conditions of our site that state this also and I have included this for you below:
'Should a retailer delay payment or cease trading then we will make every reasonable effort to recover your cashback but we can make no guarantees to payment until funds have been received from the retailer or their agents.'
We will continue to look into this for you and see if we are able to chase up this cashback but this can sometimes take a while to reach a resolution.
I hope that we can reach a positive outcome for you.
I've just asked what they have done to try and recover the payment but I guess the reply will be more BS , maybe it's time to look into contacting Trading Standards for advice on the payment.0 -
@Wayne3765,I am sorry to hear that this took this length of time to be resolved for you. I can see from the response that you have quoted that your transaction was paid as a goodwill gesture, please be assured that as soon as we have received the cashback for a transaction, this will automatically go on to be updated on the members account. I can see that the message you have posted, which was received a few days after your transaction was made payable says that 'They have told us that the payment was shown as payable and was in the account until you withdrew this on 25 July 2014', this to me would indicate that this was because your transaction had been pushed through by us. Are you able to get in touch with me at [EMAIL="mse@topcashback.co.uk"]mse@topcashback.co.uk[/EMAIL] with the correspondence that says this was payable in October? I can then take a look into this for you.

Logged a claim for missing cash back for William Hill Bingo back on the 15 Mar 2014; been stuck at Waiting for Merchant since then. I have kept nudging every few days but no luck.0

Cashback not being paid and transactions completely disappearing and now the forum has gone. All this rubbish about it being down for maintenance is just that, because they do not want their uers to know that others are having the same problems as they are. That way when they tell you that you that you are the only one who has had a problem you may just believe them.
Never ever again will I use tcb, it is just not worth the hassle. I have tried quidco and to be fair to them I had two transactions both paid and quickly, one was for just getting a quote for medical insurance and I was paid fifteen pounds just for that, I never thought I would see it but I had it about four weeks later. But what with the hassle with tcb and the chasing and waiting and endless messages back and forth etc I would just rather find the best deal in the first place and give these cash back sites a wide berth.
Samantha, as nice as you are here and on Tcb, there comes a time when you cannot defend the indefensible. TCB is having problems and everyone knows it. Perhaps if tcb paid their existing users instead of spending hundreds of thousands on flaming television adverts to attract more users then there would not be as many complaints.0 -

@1D1F , this can be the case on occasion, sometimes you will only be eligible for either the cashback or the voucher.
@Wayne3765, I can assure you that we will do what we can to get any cashback to you as expected, however, as mentioned in your quote, we are not able to provide any guarantees on this which I do apologise for. In regards to your Green Insurance transaction, thank you for confirming this, I believe that what I previously said could be the case, however, I would need any written correspondence to be able to look into this further for you.
