    I've been Money Tipped!
@tcb, yes thanks Samantha and the last two financial transactions have been faultless. Obviously unlike many others as you are well aware, but credit where credit is due.
btw, I'll have a nice one for you next month (maybe two). ;)
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

    Hi TCB Samantha,
I had a tracked transaction worth £52.50 from 2013 still showing last week. My account now shows it as £0.00 and it's listed in paid transactions...
It was with Debenhams Life Insurance, I realise that Debenhams Life Insurance is no longer a merchant on Top Cashback but it was when I took out my policy. Do you know what's happened?
My transaction was in 2013, the date of my first payment was 28/6/2013.
    Many thanks and kind regards
    Mo
There is no excuse for rudeness. Ignorance on the other hand is excusable – you don’t know what you’re talking about.

    Hi there,

@*Jane*, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced a few declined transactions, could you proceed to lodge claims for each of these so that we can look into getting these decisions overturned for you? In regards to your outstanding transaction, I would be more than happy to look into this for you if you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with your transaction details?

@Mo, it sounds as if your transaction has gone on to decline. So that we can look into getting this decision overturned for you, could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with your transaction details and I can get the 100 day limit overridden on this for you.

    Best wishes,
    Samantha

Why does it matter about £5/year when you can make so much by cash back.

Between Topcashback and Quidco I have received over £4800 in the last 4 years.

It is not a scam !!
  • Direct line finally got paid after 18 months of waiting better late than never i guess, other transactions do not seem to be progressing at all.
If i'm honest i'm done with cashback sites too much hassle and no guarantee of getting the cashback, i've started to negotiate deals direct with the company and have ended up getting better deals, for example virgin media is £27.50p/m for 50mbs bb i contacted virgin and got 100mbs broadband for £19p/m.

First Utilty hasn't tracked after five days.

For a claim, TCB ask for a "6 digit registration number" and a "7 digit account number"

Ours BOTH have seven digits! :(

(I wish TCB claim forms would request the same Order / Ref number / Account number data that the merchant gives us. These terms often don't match those used by the merchant, and rarely give an extra field to add data that would help us to help the retailer to identify our order.)

    Will be submitting anyway.

Hi - I applied for the Post Office credit card on 30 July 2014 via TCB. Unfortunately, while I was accepted without having to provide them anything further, this wasn't an instant decision and took a few days to confirm. For some reason the terms and conditions on TCB say that this means the £40 cashback will be declined, which it was (actually I can no longer see this shown but if you read the "reviews" you will see several comments from other users alluding to this fact).

However I see that Quidco offer members who applied via their site the opportunity to claim the £40 cashback manually in these circumstances (see terms and conditions section).

    http://www.quidco.com/post-office-credit-cards/

Please can you confirm how/if I would be able to do this with you as I can't see anywhere on the Post Office cashback page on your site to indicate that a manual claim would be accepted in these circumstances. If nothing else I guess this would qualify under your "highest cashback guarantee" (£0 on TCB vs £40 on Quidco)?

Thanks! Big fan of TCB by the way :)
If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...

    Hi there,

@keith1950, thanks for your post, I am g;ad to hear that you have earned a substantial amount of cashback over the years! I hope that you have been sure to treat yourself :)

@legendkiller2k8, I am glad to hear that your Direct Line cashback has come through for you, I am however sorry to hear that you are finding the use of cashback sites too much hassle. If there is anything that we are able to do to be of help at all, please do get in touch either via a support ticket or via email at mse@topcashback.co.uk.

@woodface7, there are no restrictions in these fields so you should be able to apply the 7 digit numbers. If for any reason this does not allow you to do this, if you apply the 6/7 numbers to lodge the claim, then you can always post a message to our Claims Team to make them aware of the numbers that you have received. We are looking into this with the network to see if there have been any changes with this.

@MrChips, thanks very much, I am glad to hear that you enjoy using the site :) I am just getting this looked into for you with our Partnerships Team and as soon as I have heard back from them, I will get back to you on your email if that is OK?

    Have a great weekend!

    Best wishes,
    Samantha

    Hi,

I also think it is a bad idea shutting the forum I have found it very useful and I think it looks like to me it has been shut because of too many criticisms of not paying by topcashback!!!

Any way my wife has a topcashbcak plus account i donot. I am sure when I was looking at her payout the vouchers were worth 8% on top of the payout and mine was worth 5% on top of the payout. When I looked today hers was only 5% like min!! So why is she paying £5 extra!! I am sure it says on the differences page she gets 10% more on payout then me!!

    Could any one explain why?

    Thanks
