  • I have been waiting for over 7 months for my Argos Pet Insurance transaction to become payable! Took it out on the 5th November 2013 and it has been showing as confirmed for months. :-(

Edited to add. I have just seen that Topcashback haven't received any money from Argos since July 2013! So why are they still advertising them nearly a year later knowing that nobody has received their cashback since then? That is just plain wrong and makes me really annoyed.

I am so annoyed at Topcashback! I cannot believe I am now paying a yearly fee when the service has actually deteriorated so much.

I have been chasing an Argos Pet Insurance claim which was confirmed for over 6 months then suddenly dropped to £0.00:mad:

This has been going on for over a year and all I get is excuses. So much for my yearly fee providing me with better customer care - don't make me laugh.:rotfl:

It seems it is a familiar story for many and Topcashback are stating they have not been paid by Argos Pet Insurance since July 2013, so why are they still on their site for many more people to purchase and then not get paid?

I think it is high time cashback sites should be regulated, after all they are advertising on TV stating how much you can earn just from doing your shopping but they do not state on these adverts that it is not guaranteed.

I would be grateful if the rep could get back to me to deal with this once and for all. I have spent more time dealing with this than it is actually worth but it is now down to principle. I have also recently heard that as the cashback is from a financial product it can be referred to the FOS. Could anybody tell me whether that is in fact true?

I have been a member of TCB for a number of years but the service has declined drastically in the past year or so.

Two people refered, 7 purchases over a month ago, nothing pending or tracked.

    Is TCB completely useless?

What's the point in asking me to go to the trouble of emailing you, if you don't reply?

Topcashback is a slightly large organisation and I wouldn't expect "her" to reply to me but I'd expect the company to. Surely they open weekends, or that is a poor social media/digital team strategy.

    I've been Money Tipped!
It would have looked more professional to give a quicker reply, but the amount of problems throughout tcb at the moment (multiple issues with many different merchants), I'd imagine tcb are extremely busy. They also have a ticket system and all those tickets will require a reply. Busy, busy times!
Hopefully you will at least have the courtesy of an answer today.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

Who knows but posting at 7.40am on monday morning that you haven't had a reply to an email sent 1pm on Friday afternoon is a bit much really. It could be that your issue is being investigated.

But you would be hardpressed to get immediate email response from any large company over a weekend. it is understandable to be frustrated with TCB delays in payouts but your post this morning was just churlish imo.

Makes me laugh my 25p justeat cashback gets payable in no time yet the large ammounts aka Sky never seem to progress. Something dodgy going on here.
Any idea @TCB of when the next payment from Sky is due? Or maybe you'd like to explain to Sky if i progress with a mis-sold claim?
As for DL i followed B_Ms advice and they are saying TCB already have the money.
Oh btw thanks for banning me from you Facebook page are you hiding something? Maybe i'll just take it to Twitter and warn people not to bother with TCB?
