Hi, Not sure if I am posting in the correct place, so hope this works. I applied for a credit card through TCB offering £47.25 cashback. It failed to appear so I lodged a missing cashback claim. TCB got back to me asking for:
"Last four digits of central credit card number, full address and postcode, name of cardholder, date of birth of cardholder, application reference number". Im not happy giving all this info out in an email. Surely the application ref number would be enough? We are always warned about giving out too much personal info in case of identity fraud/theft. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you Oh, also cashback showed at £47.50 when I applied, TCB now has it at £45. I know its not much, but we are all trying to save money for a reason0 -
Good evening
I recently applied for a new credit card and as there wasn’t a cashback - on - spending card that appealed, I opted for the Post Office credit card which was offering a high level of cashback for signing up via TCB.
Although the PO site said that a decision would be given immediately this didn’t happen and it was just over a week before I heard more.
In the meantime the cashback tracked at zero and was then declined. I noticed in the info that there was a clause saying that cashback would only be given on decisions made on line.
When the PO eventually contacted me they asked for documents from two specific lists, stating that the evidence they required related to money laundering legislation.
I am a retired teacher. My credit rating is nigh perfect. I have private pensions and a small income from university lecturing and my money laundering history is in inverse proportion to my laundering of support tights.
What I would like to know please is whether the PO routinely uses this as a “get out of jail free” card, whether cashback is ever paid on PO credit card applications made through TCB, and, if my suspicions are justified, whether TCB should review its policy of carrying advertising for the Post Office.
Many thanks.0 -
Hi there.
@Rhonaj, it will be showing as £45 as this will be the amount of cashback you will be eligible for without the extra top-up added by TopCashback. This will be added once your claim has been resolved. In regards to your claim, the affiliate network require this information in order to locate your purchase on the secure tracking systems they use. This is also to ensure the details match so that the claim can be correctly processed. The link for the page in which you lodge a claim will start with HTTPS. This is a more secure way of communicating over the internet or via a computer network. You can read more about this here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Secure.
I hope that I have been able to offer some reassurance.
@melody2395, I am sorry to hear that your Post Office Credit Card has gone on to decline. I would be happy to look into this for you. Could you kindly send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk titled 'FAO Samantha'?
Hopefully we are able to get this resolved for you.
Many thanks,

Hi All
1) I have clicked through the Existing Customer Sky link but when I go back to the TCB tab it doesn't show the 'Your Visit Has Been Recorded' pop up.
I have tried IE and Chrome, same on both. I have tried other merchants and it works.
I don't use any other cashback sites.
2) I want to upgrade both my internet and my tv package, there are 2 separate cashback amounts, one for each item. Do I need to make 2 orders in order to get the 2 cashback amounts or will it work with one click through and one order?
Thanks0 -
Hi miniemma.
Thank you for your questions.
1) The reason that you have not seen the 'your visit has been recorded' pop-up is because, before being able to proceed to the merchant site, you have to select 'continue' on the information pop-up. If you go to your ' clicks to merchants' tab on your earnings page, you should see that your click through has been recorded.
2) I can confirm that for this merchant, you will only need to make the one click through. Your cashback will be adjusted accordingly after your purchases have been made.
I hope that I have been able to help, if you have any further questions at all, you can contact me via email at mse@topcashback.co.uk.
Best wishes,

Hello,
I signed up to Npower boiler team care via Topcashback. I did this back on October the 24th 2013. I have yet to receive any cashback as the status is till pending. I have read lots of negative things about Npower. However I am being charged for their Boiler team care since October. I am owed £84.
Thank you.0 -

Hi Samantha,
How do I close my account?
You might think that is a daft question but it's really not - your website doesn't seem to work very well every click takes me to this page:
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/change-membership-level?RedirectURL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.topcashback.co.uk%2faccount%2foverview%2f
Being old and a bit cynical I'm sure you are going to tell me that the problem is at my end but as every other website works fine for me I do wonder.....
Why do I want to close my account?
Well I signed up to Sky via your website and you didn't pay out and put very little effort into helping me get my cash back.
Quidco on the other hand have been perfect.
Oh, and you might want to look at the unsubscribe link on your marketing emails, I'm no expert but I thought the unsubscribe link had to work!
If you have any question please PM me via my profile.
Regards,
Steve0 -
Hi Steve.
It is not a daft question at all, I would be happy to look into this further for you. Could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the title 'FAO Samantha' so that I can do this.
I am sorry to hear that you would like to close your account, I would be more than happy to look into your Sky transaction for you, and to assist you with unsubscribing from the emails. If however, you do still feel that you would prefer to unsubscribe your account, then I will be able to go through this with you also.
I look forward to hearing from you, I hope that I can be of help.
Kind regards,
Samantha“Official Company Representative
