I have been waiting about 5 months for my bonus and every single time TCB seem to do this offer of £2.50, there is an "issue" with the merchant or tracking. I ordered Holland and Barrett order, usually no problem but on this occasion where I am supposed to get the cashback and £2.50, neither are showing . Odd???? And despite the offer showing I have ordered. TCB refuse to pay out until the merchant does. This is a con, and just not fair on people who genuinely follow their rules

    Yes, tracked in quickly enough.

I feel for you there and know where you are coming from.
Both my BIL and wife had issues with Wilko. Never ever has a failed tracking before, but non-tracking via the 'bonus event'.
Claims in and I'm sure Wilko won't renege on 40p cashback. They will still receive a direct complaint though if denied.

Although bonuses usually have to be chased up, they are paid.
    And, of course welcome.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

    Hey everyone,

@Molerat – I am pleased that your cashback has now tracked

@carh – If, as you say all we ran these offers for is to not pay out this would not only damage our reputation but also frustrate our loyal members. It wouldn’t make sense as a company to spend money advertising these to just frustrate our members.

Like all purchases, TopCashback can’t force them to track for you. That’s all down to whether there is a clear connection between our cookie on your device and your purchase.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

    Hi,

    @steve1500 and @antrobus,

I do hope that we get payment from Free Price Compare soon so we can pay you both :)

    Best wishes,
    Matt

Patience is a virtue, they say.:)

Free Price Compare became payable today. OK it took ten months rather than nine. But, hey ho, the cash is now mine.

@ TCB /Matt - a fantastic offer with More Than insurance (landlord) and tracked very quickly, but why is the rate £100 for both premium and standard members? All the rates for More Than are the same for both member levels. So, why no 5% top-up? Or, why are standard members getting the same rate, but without paying an annual fee?
That extra fiver could be my annual TCB fee. ;)

    Hey B_M,

As some of our exclusives are so good, there is no top up on these so we can offer some more great ways of rewarding our members.

There is still top up on a lot of merchants and their cashback rates and where this is applicable we will include it in the displayed rate :)

Plus Members have lots of ways to benefit from Plus Membership including the increased top up and also extra tell a friend rates, exclusive competitions and even increased top up for some payouts too.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

  • Dear Topcashback,
I purchased my home insurance with Nationwide via your site on 02 Oct 16. I had been checking on this regularly on your site and everything had been looking good. I then logged in this month to check and transaction had been declined after waiting over a year (No email informing me of this which is very naughty). I then attempted to file a claim and Nationwide Home Insurance is no longer on your site. I raised a query with topcashback to be told

    Hello
We apologise that Nationwide have now declined your cashback. We are not sure why they have declined it as they do not always provide a reason.
Usually, we would now assist you in making a declined cashback claim, but as the merchant has now expired with their merchant affiliate network, we will unfortunately be unable to lodge that claim on your behalf as they will no longer accept claims.
We fully appreciate how frustrating this must be for you, given the length of time you have been waiting, but any claim we did raise on your behalf would be declined immediately.
Once again, we apologise that this has not been a positive response.
    Best Wishes
    Laura

What are my options please as this is very disappointing?

Thanks Matt, I wasn't aware of that and thought the 5% top-up was added to all transactions.

    https://www.topcashback.co.uk/classic-or-plus

I actually thought it was an error as even the 1% top-up wasn't included and it would appear the flat rate of all applies to many offers.

Maybe time to update the membership level comparison page as it's no longer true. I know how honest TCB like to be, so hope I've helped. ;)
But Plus membership is no way as lucrative as it was and has been devalued. Basic membership can now get you exactly the same rates and without paying an annual fee.
Unless of course, the flat rates are wrong.
