This happens all the time, to a significant portion of my transactions with them. They could care less and you cannot prove that the claim has tracked with them, so they win!
Hence why you should follow Martin Lewis's advice and not go with any cashback retailers, just because of the cashback money which is NOT guaranteed! You should always go with the cheapest price and consider cashback a bonus. There's your lesson for the future.Minimalist

If it's any consolation, you are not alone!
Expedia and it's group are well known for their antics and the cashback sites know how devious they are.

When you click from TCB to Expedia, it will show in your TCB history. It's recorded, that's how and why you can submit a claim. Equally, Expedia can easily see where your transaction originated - from TCB on the exact time and date (an electronic trace). Yet, they often deny this!
In future, see if there is a cashback site that guarantees Expedia cashback.

A far better option IMHO is to use discount codes. An immediate, point of sale discount, is far better than a chance of cashback.
Many voucher sites out there like Vouchercodes and Vouchercloud who often offer a 10% discount code.
Even though TCB know how bad Expedia are, they won't be kicked off their site.
Sorry to hear, but we'll hear many more similar experiences.

Hey everyone,
@ AdamHindle14 – You must have been posting as I replied on Friday sorry about that. I am afraid a claim is the final way we can challenge for the cashback. Once the network has checked and double checked to see what has happened with the commission we can not challenge this any further.
I understand it is disappointed as it also means one less sale tracked through TopCashback and we’ll always do our best to advise you on how to reduce this from happening.
@steve1500 - I’m sorry for the confusion caused, I believe in the case of Free Price Compare it was more an administration change rather than anything else and shouldn’t affect the progression of your cashback. This merchant does have a long validation period (6 months) but it shouldn’t take too much longer after this has passed.
@ redfox – I can see your email and this will be replied to tomorrow at the latest
@ B_M – I’m delighted to hear that went payable so quickly
Best wishes,

Hi Matt,
The validation period passed ages ago so should be payable, that was the reason for email chase up,, that resulted in the response I got
So not quite sure what the response meantPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -

I call b0ll0x to that.:)
For one thing, 'estimated payable' for Free Price Compare is 40 weeks, which is more like nine months. For another thing, I'm patiently waiting for my cashback to become payable after more than ten months.
I'm just hoping it comes through before Xmas.:)0 -
Hi,
@steve1500 and @antrobu,
I do hope that we get payment from Free Price Compare soon so we can pay you both
Best wishes,

My wife used Ebay for the last bonus and it tacked in this morning.
No bonus as yet, but that's not normally automatic and should appear later. No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
The purchase has tracked now so just have to wait for the bonus.0

Hi @Molerate – I am pleased to hear this has tracked now. The bonus should be added within 7 days.
