Hi Matt.
what frustrates me is both myself and you guys have recognised the transaction and that i did purchase talktalks product.
yet talktalk have now blatantly lied to both of us. which to me is fraudulent and if this is the case you guys should drop promoting talktalks products as they are not trustworthy!
and such incidents tarnish you guys with the same brush! as my trust is now at rock bottom!0 -
@ minislim
Being as you have already done half of the work chasing your Talk Talk Cashback you may wish to complain (or further any existing complaint) directly to them, pointing out also that you are now less likely to remain with them in the future due to ....
Head of Complaints – CEO's Office, TalkTalk Group, PO Box 344, Unit 19, Southampton, SO30 2NP.
No reason at all particularly as you have already contacted T.T about this matter why you cant take both TCB claims route and complain directly to Talk Talk at the same time, If it was me complaining to Talk Talk directly I would ask for compensation for ..... and also point out that I havent publicised the matter "yet"0 -
HI All,
Wondering if anyone can help me, I use TCB a lot & have earnt over £1000 in the last year or so...I've just looked & there is an offer on of £31.50 cash back for a successful application for a Tesco Credit Card.
Am I reading this right in so much as all I have to do is get a card & I'll get the cashback?Dwy galon, un dyhead,

Cashback is NOT guaranteed...even when you do everything right and TCB advertise such a deal...they may renege on the advertised deal...or blame Tesco if you don't get paid.No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

Hi Guys,
I hope you're all looking forward to having a great weekend!
@minislim - A transaction can track to an account initially - even if cashback is not due and this is why a validation period passes before cashback is either declined or approved. This allows the merchant and their network time to investigate the transaction, ensure the correct referrer has been accredited and that an eligible purchase has taken place.
I understand why you may believe this is just the merchant refusing to pay but with all the commission process it's only fair to expect the merchant to pay for eligible transactions that take place and it's also only fair to expect them top pay for one referrer and not two. If a merchant abuses the cashback system it's not just cashback sites they risk being removed from but also many thousands of websites who display adverts and sponsored links. It would be very surprising to me if a merchant did this for one amount of commission. If you can email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk I will investigate your claim and see if there is anything else we can do for you.
@Oakdene - This is indeed true. However, please be sure to read the terms and conditions of the offer on site as this does provide some additional clarity. As mentioned by others in the thread it's important to bear in mind cashback can't be guaranteed but if you follow the process we advise and read over the terms there is no reason why you can't take part in this cashback and get paid as we would expect
I do hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Hi,
I have been having problems getting cashback on the last 4 transactions I have made, these were done with different computers and different browsers.
The 4 transactions are totalling approx. £209
2 are outstanding from April 2015
1 from Nov 2015
1 from feb 2016.
I have submitted claim but all are stuck on "waiting for merchant"
Is there anything you can do to help. I regularly check and respond to any queries and also send a nudge now and again but nothing.0 -
as another poster said...in the interests of clarity and transparency...would it not make sense if TCB were to name the "other" referrer or affiliate?
Especially if the retailer has paid them...it would be interesting so see how they track people...and make it easier for TCB to prove this is just a way of not paying out....
"we didn't get commission, so we're not paying you...but we're not going to tell you who did get your commission."
All sounds a wee bit shifty...No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -

.
And please dont contact the merchant yourself to ascertain who did get your commission and/or the reason why your cashback was declined.0
