Hi mamabuddah,
I have located your email now and managed to check this in your account. We never want to keep members waiting any longer than is essential. However, we can only credit you with the outstanding funds once we have been paid them by the merchant which in some cases can take it's time. Looking at your claim I can see we have not made an error with your cashback and currently are paying you the amount we have received. Sometimes claims are overturned but this can not be finalised until the difference has been credited to us.
Best wishes,

Hi mamabuddah,
We never want to keep members waiting any longer than is essential. (almost 5 months now) However, we can only credit you with the outstanding funds once we have been paid them by the merchant which in some cases can take it's time. (almost 5 months now) Looking at your claim I can see we have not made an error with your cashback (someone has) and currently are paying you the amount we have received. (not the amount you advertised though) Sometimes claims are overturned (?? how come when you have already acknowledged the transaction took place and the cashback was not what you advertised, perhaps you should make more of a pro-active effort, rather than sit back and wait, or do you have that many claims you are snowed under.) but this can not be finalised until the difference has been credited to us.
I bet if I owed you money you would be chasing it up.
Best wishes,
Matt
I see you ignored my suggestion on how to improve customer service...or are you now denying this has been any of your fault?
"Sometimes claims are overturned"....be interesting to see if this happens now because TopCashback are fed up because I'm complaining about their failings in how they won't own up to their mistakes and do something about customer service.
Easy to blame someone else isn't it? especially when you try to make it part of your T&Cs....and use that as a means of doing nothing. No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -
I recently made 2 identical purchases about 30 minutes apart, the first tracked the second didn't, cleared cookies etc. before both purchases. My claim for the second purchase has now been declined with the claim of 'not last referral'. Doesn't make much sense since the first tracked fine.
Why in the interest of transparency are the tracking network not obliged to provide the website that the referral HAS been associated with when valid claims (i.e. those where the purchase can clearly be identified and confirmed) are declined? This would reassure consumers and also mean that we can choose to avoid certain sites that may be causing issues.0 -

Valid point, not only that, but it should identify sites/referrers who aren't playing ball and should NOT be used by TCB.....just out of curiosity...all this "unclaimed" commission....where does it go?No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere0 -
@ Missy79, it wasn't Groupon by any chance? They are pretty well known for this type of issue. If you need to make 2 purchases for the same offer via them, use different accounts and / or cashback sites.
Hotelopia should be resolved, with a payment in the next few weeks I'd imagine? This has been a complete joke!No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -

It was 2 mobile handsets from motorola, 1st tracked 2nd didn't, both started from scratch separately.0 -
Bit of an update on my Talktalk cyber monday deal cashback.
after being rejected for my cashback back in December i lodges a claim for this.
luckily for me a took screenshots as initially my deal apparently didn't exist until i proved otherwise.
its taken four months now and my claim has been rejected again!
Talktalk's reason? i had ''Not met terms and conditions''.
so i asked them to clarify which term or condition i hadn't met.
their response. Apparently i cancelled my order????
funny that. it was probably the quickest and swiftest broadband and phone move i had ever had.
so rather annoyed now that they can blatantly lie to me and topcashback just to get custom.
if it was just a couple of quid i wouldn't be so bothered but this is £126!
so talktalk have effectively duped me into an 18 month contract?? isn't that classed fraud?0 -
Can anyone help please ? I am trying to withdraw money that is payable but I seem to be going round in circles. I just keep getting asked to log in when I am already logged in. It's driving me crazy !
Thanks0 -

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying this lovely sunny day!
@mamabuddah - As I am sure you can understand if we did this for you we would have to do this for everyone with an incorrect claim and £20 would lead into much more. As with your comparison to Tesco, this is a hard one to call as looking at your claim the correct processes have been followed. We certainly do not pretend to be something we are not, we offer cashback which is commission we receive. We can only pay this to you when we ourselves are paid. Using our site is not the same as taking up a deal with the merchant directly such as get a free cuddly toy if you purchase today or using a voucher code. Our site is a chance to earn the commission other companies would be making if you were not using us.
@Missy79 - The network are not obliged to tell us the last referrer as this is confidential information. However, if is important that as well as clearing cookies and cache, you disable ad blockers and ensure cookies are completely removed. Sometimes there are programmes on your device that adds cookies that can be recognised to earn commission and so it may be worth checking for this on your device. Additionally if you are using the same merchant in the same evening I would advise closing down and re-opening the browser.
@B_M - I hope the merchant do pay us soon so we can get your cashback progressing
@minislim - It is important to remember that cashback is commission and often it's not seen by the person purchasing. We show members what commission is available but this doesn't make the cashback guaranteed. If you disagree with a claim you can leave our team a message and they will try their best to get it further queried.
@P2TKL - Can you go into your internet history settings and delete saved passwords? This should help you out with your issues logging in.
I do hope this helps everyone.
Best wishes,
