I have two transactions which have remained unresolved for nearly a year.
Hilton Hotels on December 7, 2014
and
Policy Expert Home Insurance on January 14, 2015
Despite repeated back and forths to the Claims Team on TCB, I am still no further forward after all this time
I have contacted Policy Expert and they have confirmed to me that my transaction was indeed made through TCB
End of my tether with this, really disappointed I have not received the cash into my account
My TCB username is Morrow56
Any further details needed please advise
Thanks in anticipation

Thanks Matt and I'm relieved both Schweppes and Coke's T&Cs confirm they aren't part of the COS or Clicksnap program. Ends tomorrow anyway, but something to look out for and perhaps a warning in the main message may be apt.
Yes Crabman, I'd like to know the reason for the delays, especially compared to similar programs. It used to be very good when it first started, but went downhill. Luckily the TCB app is pretty much useless and at least scanned receipts are saved and no need to hold onto receipts for weeks waiting for someone to decide they want to process payments. Frustrating!
update: checked this morning and still no movement. Compared to the similar programs elsewhere, a pretty poor performance and obviously well behind the standards of others. Hi I got an email yesterday from Topcashback saying:
Grab a 14 day free trial and £10.50 cashback with NOW TV
Give the Entertainment Month Pass a try with a 14 day free trial, and if you stay after your free trial ends, you’ll get £10.50 cashback.
The NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass:
✔ The latest and best shows not on Freeview
✔ Over 250 box sets with up to 30 added a month
✔ 13 top channels, like Sky Atlantic, FOX and MTV
When your free trial ends the entertainment keeps rolling at just £6.99 a month. Or simply cancel anytime. No contract.
When I click on the link and go to topcashback now tv page there is no mention of this offer. Is the email real?0 -
Hi Everyone,
@bxboards - Please can you lodge a Missing Cashback Claim for this so we can get it queried with the cashback network? We can then see why it is tracking at £0 and try and get you the cashback that was available for this product.
@Crabman - We have had these terms in place to manage our members expectations. It can be the case that your receipts get approved way before this time frame but it can sometimes take this period of time.
@morrow56 - I am very sorry to hear that two of your transactions are tracking at a much slower pace than we would hope. Could you kindly send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk and confirm for me the stay dates of your holiday and also the start date of your policy? I can then take a closer look into this and help you out as much as I can.
@B_M - Please do be aware, as well as our own terms and conditions as we are the publishers of their offers their terms and conditions do also need to be adhered to and so it is always worth cross checking.
Please also be aware even with these offers they still require the standard processing timeWe would not ask our members to wait any longer than necessary and sometimes we can be faster than the 28 days.
@bebewoo - Can you please forward me this email to mse@topcashback.co.uk? I can then take a closer look into this for you.
Many thanks,

Thanks again Matt.
To meet members expectations? Waiting 28days / 30 days to process a receipt? I believe member expectations would be similar to COS / Clicksnap. Shopitize is obviously the DADDY, but a one off.
I've read the T&Cs for my purchases Matt (still not processed) and as there is no connection to COS in the T&Cs, it should process as normal.
To other members thinking of using Snap and Save when the offers can't be claimed twice on one receipt (ie COS), then it makes sense to go with who can process your claim quickly.
Hopefully TCB will try and improve timescales soon and compete with the other sites, rather than be in a lower league. No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Have emailed details to you now, really hoping this comes through for me, been an interminable wait

I was happy to see my Smart Insurance purchase become payable, but on reviewing my screenshots of the time, I think the amount is wrong. The base cashback was £175 that weekend. (So £176.75 for Classic members.)
I thought it worth upgrading to Plus membership to get £183.75 (105% of £175). See screenshot. So I did, in the hour before clicking through to Smart at 22.32hrs on 5th April. The transaction was completed within fifteen minutes.
But the cashback awarded is £168. (ie £160 +5% Plus bonus of £8.) Leaving me £15.75 out of pocket.
And I know there was no £160 rate offered at that time - if ever.
I can't really submit a support ticket, as I can't attach the picture you can hopefully see here:0 -
Hi Everyone,
@bebewoo - Thanks for doing that. I will reply to your email shortly.
@B_M - What we would hate to do is tell members 24 hours and then take much longer than this. As I am sure you can appreciate some offers are very busy and others not so busy and this time frame works for our company. Unlike the other apps you mention that wholly focus on Receipt submissions our offers are part of our bigger website and therefore we do have to take this into consideration. I have passed your feedback on about the time-scales however
@morrow56 - Thank you for your email. I shall take a look and reply back very shortly.

Thanks Matt.
Quidco Clicksnap? Quidco are very, very similar to TCB and Clicksnap is a smaller part of their main business, Yet, they can confirm transactions in a day or two.
I've submitted the freebie Kettle crisps offer to COS at just past 1.30pm today. I'll update once confirmed.
To take a week or longer to process receipts though is pretty poor (compared to others) tbh. Maybe it's not meant to be part of the TCB promotions?
