    @Sandco - Whether exclusive rates have been negotiated or not every single transaction has to go through the cashback network. They track all transactions no matter the cashback rate or the exclusivity of that rate.This is because they have the role to track the transactions and pass the money back to the referrer of the purchase. We are not able to go avoid that essential player in the cashback process. However, the rest of the process you describe is quite accurate and once we are paid by the cashback network we can then pass the money on to our members as you say.

    @2010 - While people do use us to earn cashback this does not mean cashback can be guaranteed. We are a site that allows you to earn commission on your own purchases rather than another site who earn commission every day for people clicking through from their site. Opening it up so you can earn cashback does not mean we can go and promise members cashback and we make sure we don't go doing that. Like other referrers we will only be paid for transactions we can be related back to and we are only paid when we are paid the funds by the cashback network.

    The odd person may decide to speak with the merchant directly and this is something we would ask members to avoid doing only because the customer care side of a merchant doesn't always know the commission process and it can lead to members getting upset or confused for no reason.

    We decided to be a cashback site and not a commission site. If we wanted to keep members cashback we would be a commission site like other websites and search engines already out there.

    We want our members to have a simple and easy cashback earning experience and this is why as a company who put priority on paying our members as soon as we possibly can and this is when we are paid by the merchant via the cashback network. As mentioned several times in the past I am more than happy to check with the cashback network to make sure your transaction hasn't been paid for yet but to do that I do need you to email me so I can locate your account and transaction.

    I am sorry you appear to disagree with any comments I am making in regards to your transactions. I am here to help members and to give them honest and helpful information and help.

    I note you failed to reply to my bit about waiting for Sky Broadband cashback.
    Also Im still waiting on a payout from Jul 2015 for dominos pizza. You claim its payable within 2 weeks.

  • Hi, my account has started saying that it needs activation even though its been use for quite a while (Ive had some decent cashback already!).
    I've clicked the link about 20 times in the last week - no email has arrived (not in my spam or any other folder either).
    I've sent a support request twice (no reply)
    I've sent 3 emails to the activate@topcashback.co.uk email address with a blank email as suggested in the FAQs.
    How can I get access to my account again please, I have £84 waiting there in need of withdrawal!

    You won't get a honest answer from TCB i have always believed that they do pocket our cashback and the cashback market needs to be regulated.
    I've done a few tests recently on various social media and have concluded TCB also have their favourite members who they randomly give cash to for some publicity stunt scheme on twitter etc.
    I recommend dropping TCB and trying someone like imutual or getpoundsback.

    Yes this is the address to serve documents, and the address I sent my letter before claim. Got an Email back pretty quickly.
    I also got an 017852 telephone number for them, but for obvious reasons I don't want to post it publicly.

    I don`t really want to phone them and listen to even more spiel.

    The thing that really annoys me more than anything is TCB whole business model and profits are based on offering cashback and when things go wrong they blame the "merchant network" (nothing to do with me mate) and won`t accept any responsibilty.

    They also try to cover their a*se in the small print buried somewhere in their T&C, which of course entirely contradicts their whole business concept of offering cashback.

    Well maybe they`d like to test their T&C at Northampton.

    For bit of balance to the thread I have during the year done the same cashback merchant offers via both TCB and Quidco namely ASDA free sim and Nationwide Current Account - 78.00ish and on both occasions TCB paid out many Months before Quidco did.:)

    In the case of ASDA Mobile Free Sim only TCB offered 5.00 rate, Quidco merely matched it following H.C.G claim, Q highest advertised/promoted rate that I saw was 3.00

    I hope you had a good weekend.

    2010 - I am sorry to say we can't change the cashback process. If we turned into a 100% guaranteed cashback site the rates and offers available would have to be impacted to cover the costs involved in paying for purchases that we have not been paid for.

    We do things in the fairest way possible and this is to pay members what we are paid for their transaction and when we are paid it. I understand this means some members may have to wait for the odd transaction and I understand this can be frustrating however this does not change the situation that we haven't been paid for for the transaction that took place. We do not pay for these offers ourselves but instead open up the commission process so you can earn the commission available.

    @bristolleedsfan - I am glad that your latest transactions have progressed really quickly and that you have had a good experience with us recently :) I do hope this continues.
