Well I've gone over my target of £160, I'm now up to £172. But if I deduct the holiday booze we got then I'm only up to roughly £120. Eek that's rather a lot of drink we've got! :eek:0

Well I'm pretty frustrated - have woken with a bad neck today, and can't drive or carry heavy weights. Picked up bread to be getting one with, but also had to buy some not-very-MSE convenience meals, totalling £8 for 2 days of food... I can't wait to be able to cook again!0

Needed cheering up tonight so me and DD made mug cakes from Budget Bytes. She had a dollop of Nutella in the centre of hers, I had a dollop of peanut butter. Lovely. I would cook them for less time next time, 45 sec rather than a minute. If you have baking ingredients on hand it is a quick treat.

We had braised steak with roast potatoes and cabbage/carrots + onion for dinner. I cooked some jacket potatoes to put in the fridge for no oven days ahead.

That looks delicious Florenceem.
Tonight we had Deep fried Camembert with a salad. Never had it before although it has been on my list to try for ages. Not as runny as I expected but was nice and would have it again. Had fresh fruit for afters to make up for the frying!!!MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Had a spend in Mr t due to dd2 needing some head lice stuff! Grr. It's always her and never dd1! So that's considerably shortened the budget for this weeks shop to he done on Monday! Eek!0
