    NSD 4 in a row.
I did spend today but not out of GC - bought loads of gorgeous tiles for the house renovations. I was blessed that some of the tiles I had chosen were reduced in price - saved £300!
For dinner we had HM shepherd's pie with cabbage, carrots, onion & swede with gravy.
My kitchen is being ripped out on Monday!

    Morning everyone,

    Budgets done to here :)

    Welcome LarLar :D

Spend of £27.40 going into 2nd purse for items used this week. Dinner tonight is cheesy pasta with chopped lo gammon and peas (N!gella easy recipe).

Gardening all day today for a client, so I will need something easy peasy to cook ;)

    Have a good day everyone,

Wow great saving on the tiles, dont envy you having the kitchen ripped out but it will be worth it in the end.

It's not going so well this month as I'm trying to avoid the supermarkets and I'm not used to all the best shops for different things yet!

I discovered a whole foods shop 10 miles away which was fantastic. I'll only need to go there once a month or so though so I will have to plan it when I'm travelling that way to save on petrol. £13.66 spent there.

Then I went to the farm shop and spent £14.63 on veg, dairy and cold meats.

Then to The supermarket for my fizzy pop and corner yogurts and few odds and ends I hadn't picked up at the other two shops. I did buy a large gammon joint there as it was half price. I wasn't expecting to buy that but as the deli have stopped selling ham ends I needed some. It made more economical sense to buy the large joint and cut it into portions before freezing. Another £48.36 in there.

So, a weekly total of £76.65. Not great but still on track. Just under £100 to last until the end of the month. It's doable.

    Afternoon everyone :)

Spent £47.22 at Aldi and £6 at Tesco, so total spends today= £53.22.

Got plenty of everything though, so that should easily see me through the whole week.

Hi everyone, better month for me this month - am keeping up with tracking my spending which means it's not such a shock at the end of the month. Quite scary when you put it on paper (or spreadsheet) though!

Have spent £45 this month, most of it at Sainsbury's today. The woman on the checkout was impressed as I split my shopping into two (one lot of non-food, the second lot of food) then used my till spit from the first payment to get £4.50 off the food bill :D

Am trying to reduce the amount of food in the larder (as always!) so hopefully not much to buy this month but then again I always think that and it never works out that way

Fakeaway for dinner tonight - chicken tikka masala, portugese pork curry, pilau rice and naan bread :).

Approved food order arrived today. Very pleased with it, and the fact that i have managed a NSD today; even though i went into the C*-*p earlier on the hunt for YS bits, but came out empty handed.
Edited to add tonight's tea ... Cajun Sticky chicken, actifry chips and tomatoes and red onions in balsamic vinegar

Main shop for the coming week done today and it's looking ok! €391.44/€750 spent so far this month. DD1 not coming home this weekend from college so that's one less month to feed. And for a small girl she eats like a horse! Don't know where she puts it and she wouldn't weigh 7 stone wet through!

Things are looking up a bit financially, OH has some more work. We are having curry (using the curry in a hurry idea from mortgage free in three), lovely small aubergines, half a cauli and a green pepper. Rice and raita too.
