Officially on the June thread now; saw out the last day of the month with a NSD. Thanks to Mr T delivery saver (valid til the 10th) and Mr S sending me three vouchers for free delivery. I should make it through without the extra expense, and the option to use Mr S if i want to, but not because i am tied to it due to delivery saver. Took advantage of the nice fruit and veg at Mr S (seems to last longer and currently better offers on what i like) and offers at Mr T, so got both coming tomorrow. Lots of savings in both, due to promotions and Mr T vouchers.

Declaring May £237.82 which is £42.18 under budget but still seems a heck of a lot considering boys were with their dad for three weekends. Feeling a little frustrated!
Will be moving over to June now. See you there
Have a lovely weekend

Finally processed all my receipts from May - missing a couple (one I don't think had food on, the other I've guesstimated the total), and had to try and recall everything I'd spent at a food festival back on 4th (don't get receipts, and realised a week later I should have made notes - so at the one on 26th I used the note facitility on my phone to keep track.... lesson learned)
Because of the food festivals I always expected to go over this month, and I have. My budget of £211.50 became a spend of £271.89 - but I do have a lot of the stuff left (eg. sausages in the freezer, bottles of expensive cordial tucked away for holidays in the coming months). However my budget for the year to date is £1030 and I''ve still only spent £1005.19 of that - so I just need to monitor closely between now and the end of September (2 weeks and 2 long weekends away all with OH, and one of the weeks also with his almost-3-year-old niece).Cheryl0 -
Bit late in the final update for May but we're a bit over target at around £340 give or take a few pence (can't find one of the receipts).
Not too worried as main shopping is done on a fortnightly basis so doesn't work exactly with the actual month hopefully will work itself out in the end.
Off to update sig then over to June.
