K9 - Beef and oyster sauce looks lovely.

NSD here again as was yesterday.
Productive day so far - have cleaned out the fridge and now have a large pot of soup in progress containing 2 parsnips, onion, carrot, potato, small amount of cauli and few green beans. Have added some spices and am hoping for a soup that is similar to spicy parsnip soup but time will tell. Also have a loaf in the bm.

Don't usually wish my life away but on a grocery point of view roll on the 1st June so as can start with a clean slate.

Small spends in MrS today on cheese (2.20/350g lake district mature), basic veg (carrots/onions/ 69p cauli/2.5kg pots £2) and cat food. Toast bread out of the freezer but I should make some bread for stay at home boys/OH lunches tomorrow and maybe some chocolate chip rock buns as the snack jar is empty. Roll on end of the month.

€687.19/€750!!!! It's looking good but my month ends on Thursday 30th May so I won't declare yet. I have to go to A*ldi after work so that will take a few quid but fingers crossed I'll be under budget - if the family co-operate AND STOP RAIDING THE FRIDGE AND CUPBOARDS! AAAARRRGH!
