    Hello all!

Had some big spends since my last post, but that's mainly due to using a £15 off £60 delivery code for Mr S which came through. I've been holding out for a decent delivery code for a while to do a main shop, because my stocks were running dangerously low.

Anyway on Saturday last week I ended up doing a quick meal of tuna and pasta - not inventive but filled a gap.

Yesterday I did Za'atar chicken with hummous and salad wraps
Tonight my housemate did Basque Salmon, paprika, tomato potato stew with broccoli
Tomorrow I'll do Za'atar chicken with tahini and salad wraps (need to use the rest of the pack of wraps and salad up, and have tahini in).

In a bit of a recipe rut at the moment. Will search through the main menu when I get a spare moment.

    So...onto spends:

£1.57 in Mr T on Sunday (managed to get a few rtc ready meals - 49p instead of £3.69), so bunged them in the freezer for lunches - have one defrosting for tomorrow.

    £1.40 in Co-op on the 24th May
£16.60 in Mr S on the 27th May
£10.50 in Mr S on the 25th May
£2.30 on bread from Brick Lane Beigel shop

Then...a delivery for £45.71 in Mr S today.

Brings my total to £76.51

I'll include £38.17 this month to give me a round total of £130/£130

And then I'll roll over £38.34 to June since a lot of stuff I've bought will be used then anyway - see how this goes.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hi all,

    Spends this week:
Approx £6 in farm shop on BH Monday on salad and nice biscuits(!). £17.60 today in Ts - DD came with me and wanted some cherries and grapes as she is beginning to understand healthy eating at last! Also got some good bakery whoopsies for the freezer so not all bad.

Tonight's dinner was salmon baked in foil with lemon juice and black pepper. DH and children had theirs with French fries, mange tout and mini corn. I had a few fries and a large salad.

Tomorrow we will have pork and apple sausages from the farm shop with mash and green beans. I will have quorn sausages or a quorn cutlet depending on what I find first in the freezer!

Will need to pay 2nd purse back on Friday, so strictly speaking I'm not done with May GC until then. Otherwise I will start June with a deficit and that's not really fair.

Good luck everyone still going in May - feels like a very long month :(

    A hideously long month Coxy.

Whole salmon at £4.99/kg in MrM has not helped my budget but lovely to have some good quality oily fish in the freezer. Half frozen and the rest ready for for curing and hot smoking at the weekend *dribbles*
