NSD today thank goodness as the car has failed its MOT in spectacular fashion . Honestly, I get so frustrated with taking one step forward and two steps back but there is no point moaning we will just have to have a very frugal month
Left over roast beef in wraps with onions and gravy with roast pots and peas which was lovely.
Hope everyone has had good day:)
PPOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

Evening All
Did my weekly shop at Mr T armed with list I had done online last night and did not deviate from said list. Had my £5 off £40 spend voucher and Mr T has given me another this time, so that will do for next week. Buy quite a few Everyday Value items which I rate and are low prices anyway, but this time pleased with my half price lean beef (hopefully) mince 750g for £2.75, half price ready basted turkey joint which will do for me, DS and DD for £2.50 and Clover on BOGOF, so £1 each. Also got some sparkling drinks to take to family roast tomorrow. Final spend after £5 voucher and, wait for it, 2p price promise credit from last week, = £36.17.
Will update signature. Still on target I think.

I don't normally eat red meat, and haven't eaten lamb in years, so i am not sure i'd feel confident cooking it. But i might give it a go nonetheless.
I like the idea of slow cooking it-can that be done?
