    yay - it worked

Right I've joined up on that site. My user name will be Silverfox - a reference to my white hair and my intention to become something of a bit of a "Fox".!!!!

I've not posted anything up there yet - I really must crack on. However, whilst working I am going to get my thinking cap on and think about my first first 10 goals ie what I want to achieve by the Winter Solstice.

DS2 mentioned last night that we are almost at the Summer Solstice. He's right - time is racing by......

    Evening all.

Rubbish day at work today. Why do these short weeks always feel longer when you go back to work?

Not feeling too fab so usual skincare and toothcare all done. Quite spotty today though. Lots of choccy eaten the last few days so thats either cos its coming up to totm or cos choc was in the house. Hey ho n'mind, good job I burnt it off with those runs this weekend!

Hoping to feel a bit fabber tomorrow than I do today

    Morning everyone!

One of my friends and I have booked to go to a body balance class next week, I haven't done any yoga since ExOH reappeared in my life! Feeling a bit daunted but she is a beginner as well so I won't look silly when I'm quite clearly not balanced in any way and falling over everywhere!

One of my old friends came round to see me last night. Theres always been a bit of a 'thing' between us but weve never actually been together. He said that he'd have happily left me alone with ExOH if he thought I was happy but he knew I wasn't. He's a police officer and said that from what I told him, I was hitting more of the 6 spokes of domestic abuse than he would have liked, he's livid with ExOH now! We're both completely broke so we've said that we will go out properly after our next payday.

Edit: forgot to add not long after he'd gone, I got a text off ExOH saying he loved me. Bit late now! But I don't know how he manages to always pull stunts like that at pretty much the opportune time to do it!

Evilsquid - don't waver about the exOH - good riddance! He had his chance.

Well, I've had a very pleasing day - did a morning in work and got paid extra for its as its the holidays, then The Fling came round for the afternoon - all very pleasant ;)
I'm seeing him again tomorrow then that will be it for a little while as I'm off to Wales to visit family on Friday.
I must say that it is quite tiring being so groomed, plucked, waxed and polished in all areas! But its worth it....

Not much else to report really apart from I weighed this morning and have lost another pound - only 3 to go to the lowest ever weight again :):) All this jigging about is obviously quite good for you!:rotfl:

A great way to burn off calories:rotfl::rotfl:

Evilsquid - I agree with WW - please don't be lulled back.

Guys like this are experts in turning on the thumbscrews, they know when to cry, when to sulk, when to shout etc It's all about control and they are masters of the game. Don't play.....

Well ladies - a very difficult day. Dad went to hospital for some scans and bone marrow tests. I sat with Mum. Mum has been unable to get out of bed for 2 days, and has been refusing to eat and drink. I managed to tempt her with some rice pudding....

Her GP called in whilst I was there - she knew I was going to be there today and wanted to talk to me privately - away from my father.

Anyway after a lengthy discussion with said GP I have now contacted Social Services and set the wheels in motion to have Mum go into respite as a matter of urgency with a view to then finding an appropriate nursing home. In the meantime I have asked for extra carers to come in and help out.

Mum is perfectly happy with this, she said she is ready. Dad is beside himself and I am once again the She Wolf.;)

The good news is OH rang me and we almost had a conversation.:D OK they were mainly one word answers to my questions but at the end I distinctly heard him say.

Good night, give my love to Jon.....

I cannot tell you how lovely that was.

On the fabbing front - bought myself a couple of T-shirts and a bra....ASDA .

    Hey Big Spender........

LL - how lovely for you to hear your OH's voice and be able to converse. Every small victory counts. You must be thrilled. I hope things continue to improve - baby steps.

Just a quick visit - walked the dog and am about to shove the hoover round and then titivate ready for today's Fling meeting. We're out for lunch then who knows......;)

All very exciting news for you LL and WW I am most beginning to wish I wasn't married so I could have a fling. :D

I'm going to start preparing myself for fab Friday and do the usual Thursday facial routine. Today I have bought myself a lilac and smokey grey floral jumper in one of the sales (in case that sounds dreadful, it's quite smudgy and has panels of dark grey and dark sleeves) and I got a glittery OPI 'Pink yet lavender' nail polish that had 25% off. :T So now just need to decide what to wear with it; possibly black jeans and boots.

Squid- well done for walking away enjoy your freedom and well done for being brave enough to do the right thing! It's always hard at first isn't it and feels like it always will be but then you start to love the independence. This 'friend' date sounds interesting he sounds like a very caring guy! Keep us posted :)

WW loving this exciting fling your posts are very upbeat you must be doing something right! Also can't believe you get paid extra for going in during the holidays that is very nice indeed I am very envious of that!

LL like the sound of this goals thing! I will have to think carefully what mine shall be. Anyone else got any ideas?

I've had a week sorting, organizing and going to the gym as I'm off work and feel quite ship shape because of it...

I have a little tale of my own..
You may recall I 'got rid' of an ex quite recently who had gambling issues and wasn't very supportive when my mum ended up in intensive care for 2 months at the beginning of the year. Well.. before him was my only ever other boyfriend, we'd been together since school and throughout uni (long distance) slowly we'd driven each other insane and it was time to move on but very sad cos he was the man I saw myself with forever and we were very happy together... however...

We have started seeing each other again recently and having had a few years to grow up and have other experiences seems to have done us the world of good. We are taking things slowly but I feel like all the pieces in the jigsaw have falling back into place (not to mention he has turned into a gym buff and looks like an Adonis :rotfl: ) It's definitely my gym motivation!

Also my best friend moved 150 miles away for work and has been away for a year or so but is moving back round the corner from me.

    Hurahhh!

Guys where has the sun gone?!

Teacher 2b - this full circle thing is curious isn't it. Anyway good luck with your guy.

Still thinking about my 10 goals - 3 so far...Will post up the list soon.

    Ta Da ........

Today OH moved his little finger on his left hand. It has been stuck in a bent position for a few weeks and he couldn't move it. He can wiggle it. :j:j And I understood the odd word now and then. :D

I must stay calm, I must stay calm, I must stay calm.

Fab Friday tomorrow. Glad rags on.

Where is that bl**dy sun, it's nearly June!!!!
