That sounds bad!
I was fuelling up in Chippenham yesterday, put the fuel in, reached for purse and the heavens opened, it wasn't rain, but a waterfall! Just getting from forecourt to kiosk I was drenched in the space of ten steps.

@Bertie, nice to see you around again.
@michaels - you mentioned Lainston House - I can cofirm it is as nice as ever. Two blissful days there, shame about having to come home!
Years ago I drove in daylight in Surrey through a summer shower so intense I saw a complete rainbow in front of the car (full 360 dgree circle). Never before, never since.;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Very changeable weather here yesterday. Thunder, but also blazing sunshine.
Supposed to be showery today & tomorrow, then back to summer weather, which is good as I have a few games of golf lined up...lostinrates wrote: »The most beautiful light in the sky here....a sort of golden grey.

I didn't have a fixed plan yesterday, and a friend of mine was with me as well. Next time tho, I shall mention it;)0 -

So this morning I sat down and the last thing I remember is thinking...'I'll just grab that blanket to keep warm in'. Woke up all curled up in a ball on the sofa( little sofas so have to curl up like a cat).0
