Life has become this, but would like to have a clean house again.
My guess is the rates kind of dirt is worse than the neverdespair type of dirt.0 -

I don't mean we have stinking bin bags, or rotting food in the fridge, or mounds of dirt, or anything.
But we do have a fair few bits of lego / toys / books which don't put themselves away often enough, and there are a few tea stains near the kettle that I can't be arsed to deal with, and I don't hoover curtains, or do much dusting and polishing....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Well, no rotting food in the fridge, but yeah, we pretty much have mounds of dirt ATM.
. Garden room especially. I dust where I can reach, but everywhere is barricaded with boxes. Its the nearest DH and I have got to bickering...the sorting out boxes issue. There just are not enough days in weekends, or hours in weekend days or something.

It's a different type of dirt in the city. Blacker. Full of traffic particulates. I prefer country dirt.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Worse, the limit was 80 kph, so 50 mph.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
It's still too hot in town - I was in court today, no robes, thankfully, as it was the Immigration Tribunal, but no air-con either. By the time I got home, I was very sticky and 'orrible! Now it is 27 C outside and 71% humidity....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

The AC here has had a good week although it is a little chilly today. Last week I was bringing in a t-shirt, putting it on under my shirt when I reached work then taking my shirt off when I stepped ot of the building on the way home. The 5.22 and 5.52 trains on the way home are timetabled as 12 car which means air conditioned and I get a seat at Blackfriars, and then when DW gets to the station the car has had 5 mins for the AC to cool it down. Even the 4 stops on the district line are generally not too bad or be it a little smelly in the evening. The kids have been in the pool every day for the last 2 weeks as well so we have more than got our monies worth from it.I think....0 -
...decisions about her care will have to be taken by social services, who won't consider her wishes with anything like the individual attention that her family could give to the issue. Unless one of her offspring decides they love her enough to do what she needs despite losing out.
