It depends on if it bothers you PN. This girl always wanted more, but didn't know what she wanted to start with.0

No, I'm saying that I am, and you led me on. I was on water until you arrived and started buying scrummy red wine. Then it all spiralled downhill.
Edit: BTW, when are you going to lead me on again?
That red wine was gorgeous, but I'm not used to it any more ( more of a beer drinker). I'd be under the table anyway if I lick two wine gums.
If there was another meetup, might be better at a weekend when we've not got to fit it in with work. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I really can't get excited about the prospect of how many people will be at my funeral. Nor the funeral arrangements. OTOH, when it takes place? Now, that concerns me. Preferably not for a few years yet.
Daughter of a friend of ours has just died of cancer, aged 18. I feel she's been cheated. We've been putting it off, but we have to go to the shiva tonight, as it's the last night. It'll be a bit of a scrum, I fear.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
LIR, I'm just so impressed with the shoes. I don't know anyone else who has anything even approaching those in splendour.
I'm also amazed that you can stand up in them. I bet they are great for mucking out, as those heels will give you a really good grip.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I've had one click on my site.... worth £2.43 .... I bet google reverses that.0

Just seen the video of the Spanish train leaving the tracks.

I thought I was about to watch where a regular train just hopped off the tracks and fell over.....0 -

I'll have DH to lean on if my back and legs are bad. I have been known to use a walking stick when I wouldn't ned one in flats if I want to wear heels. Heels are actually more comfortable for my knees. (But that's they only place they are more comfortable really). Those are a particularly comfortable pair though.
One day I'll post some hilarious shoes here if you like. They make me over six feet tall.0 -

That is just jaw-droppingly horrible. You can see the first carriage after the loco leave the track first, then everything else just follows. I guess that as trains approach the speed of airplanes the accidents will become more and more similar. I am amazed that anyone survived that smash.
That track is not banked at all, so surely trains were not expected to go round anything like that fast?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

The info suggests the track speed limit there was 80km/h and there are quotes that the driver claimed the train was going 190....seems an odd thing to admit immediately afterwards but the level of damage would seem consistent with that sort of speed. One carriage ended up out of the 'cutting' on the road above...I think....0
