Spirit, Hope you had a lovely meal out after all that :)

I've been looking for a pair of shoes online and ended up buying 5. May be returning a few I think...

I am going to a BBQ next week. I'm down to take a (cold) pudding. Someone else will be bringing a "healthy" pudding, and I'm to bring a "fattening" one. So far with this bunch of people I've done chocolate orange mousse, Eton mess, and chocolate cheesecake. Do the NP have any suggestions of something I could do this time?

It's gotta be home made ice cream! :A

    Was on holiday last week...

    I've been Money Tipped!
TAKING ice cream to a BBQ instead of serving from at home might be unpopular with the hostess and her freezer!!!!

The best ice cream I ever had was in Luxor. It was warm but the ice cream didn't melt and it was to die for :EasterBun

I had more than my fair share :o

    Has Heathrow reopened?

Absolute worst case scenario: You'll do a great job of entertaining on your own. Or would you like some NPs to pop over to help? (I can clean the dining room whilst you cook. Oh, and NDG will run up some curtains. :D)

I can't, you know, tomorrow. I have ginger cakes, victoria sponges, and bara briths to deliver to the school fete, together with some sloe gin and my Mama's marmalade. I'm taking Isaac, who wants to attend, because OH hates the very thought.

Attagirl NDG! I've only ever had coffee in my mouth twice. Both times were by accident. Vile stuff.

I like the smell, a lot.

How many pairs of feet do you have?

I never drink coffee, I'm a tea girl.

    I never drink tea.

I did once ingest a mouthful by mistake.

    Absolutely revolting.

Coffee all the way here, have a plumbed in espresso machine in our kitchen.

My drink of choice these days is 4 shots of espresso in a mug with a dash of 2% milk and a handful of stevia sweeteners.

3 month ago it would have been 6 shots with full fat milk and 6 teaspoons of sugar.

So it's at least healthy by comparison..... ;)
