There are "fable-mongering ears" in Moby !!!!!!, too.
Fleshmonger is probably a bit old-fashioned, now, but could still be used for a butcher (or a pimp, I suppose). There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I went for the cheaper tiles.
The difference is a mortgage payment. I'm going to ask DH if we can still try and pay the difference over the year but off the mortgage instead.
Then I will LOVE the cheaper tiles.because it will take so
Me longterm pressure of the finances and start look at longer term finances again, and future planning here.
I hardly recognise myself. In truth I would rather still have put off the bathroom til I could afford exactly what we want, but the tiles do look better in real life than in the picture on the net.0 -

That's the spirit! Get your priorities sorted!
BTW, I have been eating garlic with my lunch, so perhaps I ought to apologise for any fumes that seep out over the internet and overwhelm the NP board. I hope it doesn't bring on anyone's asthma. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Love garlic for its healthy properties, as well as giving you more space on the underground. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Are you him? That crazy guy on the northern line who cracks open raw bulbs of garlic and eats the cloves like crisps???????
Valves sorted.
And joy of joys, the ones I liked BEST were the cheapest, though I have had to get two ones of two instead of singles or a three or a four, because a three doesn't do enough and the singles are too expensive.
Michaels, I gave your message to doozer boy. If you don't here anything (he is forgetful) nudge me next week and I'll stick my elbow in his ribs.0 -

Two cloves of raw garlic for lunch, but it was sliced in quite a big sandwich. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Update on NHs. The hospital HAD NOT sent a letter, so the GP receptionist was wrong.
DH phoned the hospital to ask why,( neurologist's secretary has been on holiday for a fortnight and had not cleared her backlog before going ...my appt was 11th of June ...so think how many patients are potentially in same situation). and explain what had transpired as a result. The admin dept response was a huffy. 'well, all it takes is a phone call'
They said a backlog of two to three weeks is perfectly normal, and of course will be five weeks or because of the holiday and ' it will come through as soon as she has done it' .
Dh was muttering about private and pointed out she was private originally, and he said yes....some one else private. That appeals, but on the other hand, the devil you know...especially with all these medication changes.
I'll think about it, no rush, huh?
At least my GP gets let off the hook for the letter business. Its nice to know that wasn't their fault, even if, IMO, they did not handle the issue well at all, in fact, very poorly.0 -
I'm cross! I bet on Gold to go down from $1230, and it's gone up to $1280. Bad Gold! Silly investors, it's just malleable metal. Not very useful. Gordon was right, really. Go down!
Could I just ask the NP to think negative thoughts about Gold, please? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Ugggh! Both DW and I asked for our latest blood test results at the surgery on Monday (or was it Tuesday?) To be faxed to us. No fax has arrived, and apparently the doctors cannot decide whether to release our information to us, despite them deciding that the results are quite normal. How daft is that?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I am pretty sure they have to release the information to you but not sure they have to fax it..
I know this because they always get a bit edgey about one particular result because they know I will dispute its normality FOR ME with them, because I have known my bloodworm for a while now and know what feels good to me is not necessarily ' the average'. So they dither about it and just say normal, and I say ...yeah, but what's normal, and its always over 'my normal' when I 'know' it is.
I dunno. If I still had any brain power I'd just go back to uni and become a doctor and just try and me my own consultant physician and piece it together myself.
Long weekend from the nice builders this weekend. I like them, but it will still be nice.0
