Speaking of tomorrow, I'm delighted that Wikipedia has a timeline of the future. I must check up what's going to happen so I don't get surprised.:D

Having tea bags in the kitchen really isn't a posh alert - I reckon almost every kitchen in the country does. We have builder's tea, lady grey, rude-boy (can't remember the real name, that South African one), camomile, peppermint, apple and cinnamon, camomile and spicey apple - I think that's it.

I never drink coffee, I'm a tea girl.

Attagirl NDG! I've only ever had coffee in my mouth twice. Both times were by accident. Vile stuff.

I am going to a BBQ next week. I'm down to take a (cold) pudding. Someone else will be bringing a "healthy" pudding, and I'm to bring a "fattening" one. So far with this bunch of people I've done chocolate orange mousse, Eton mess, and chocolate cheesecake. Do the NP have any suggestions of something I could do this time?

My only suggestion is bring me some!

The good weather is bringing on the beetroot & the onions I've planted look the best crop I've ever had.
Repotted a few more tomatoes into bigger pots today.
Repotted all the chilli plants too. A couple of chillis have grown an extra inch in 2 days. I also have cucumber flowers forming!
When (time-wise) is peoples recommendations for harvesting beetroot and onions?

Played bowls the other night on a green near my home. Used to go to the pub where we played a lot. Nice beer garden there.

Anyhow, for the 2nd time in 2 years, I was the last match on the green.
Again for the 2nd time in 2 years, we lost the match by 1 shot!:(

My pansies are not doing well in the heat, even watering every day and they are wilting. So what do I do when I go on holiday? Should I cut them right back so they need less water?

So tomorrow night we are going to hear a ceilidh band .

    Wrong.

It was a ceilidh. With a caller...and lots of dancing...and very young peope dancing..and very old people sitting at the edge....and we three standing near the door...then we escaped to a restaurant.

Next time OH, read the bl**dy description.

    Expert advice in Aus is:

    1. Mulch
    2. In hot weather, water twice a day.
