No idea if they were warned or not.

But even if not, I don't think the law requires a warning when you're under attack and reasonably in fear of imminent serious harm, or when the immediate use of lethal force is necessary to prevent serious injury or death to a third party.

AIUI, the requirement is for officers to issue one where circumstances allow, but nobody expects an officer to allow himself to be beheaded because there wasn't time to warn before shooting!

I think it is only fair to warn them. I would shout a warning such as:

'I don't like what you've done or what you stand for, so I'm going to shoot you both a few times'

michaels, I feel you are rubbing off on me, so to speak!

The Shell offer, over on the right there, took it up. I have a Shell card which converts to Avios and I've checked that they can convert the 4000 pts to Avios.

And, it gets better, I'll get the tenner back from work.

Can I have a gold star please?

I've had a Nectar card for over 6 months, I use it every time I can - I'd had a "till spit" voucher offering 200 points for registering my card online, which I used. I just checked my balance for the first time... I have 722 points, which is apparently worth £2.50 according to the points to cash calculator.

It says 420 base points and 302 bonus points.

Don't forget there is double redemption on gold stars at co-op this week :)

Every morning for the last 14 months I have come in, sat down, switched on computer (waited), typed in 6 digit user ID of format 'abc12d', typed in password and logged on.

Reflecting how well I feel this week in general and this morning in particular, I couldn't remember my user ID
    I think....

    According to this http://www.sainsburys-live-well-for-less.co.uk/products-values/nectar/check-your-points/ - that's worth £750.

    What are gold stars?

I think it might be something to do with a game, having just googled it.

I do have a Co-op loyalty card - it earned me £8 last year.

My Nectar card...not sure how many points, but I did get £30.00 off wallpaper and paint last bank holiday, not sure how, but it was some double points thing promotion. Think I may be downgraded to a silver star for not understanding the finer points. On the other hand, nectar points are arrived at via fuel purchases which I don't pay for.

Crikey it's complicated, even at junior level!

    I wish I had fuel purchases I didn't pay for :)

My nearest/cheapest petrol station is a Shell one and I have/use theShell card. But, as I don't go joyriding these days, I've only spent about £200 on fuel in the last 6 months.

As a rule of thumb, faffing about with cards, with the amont of money I spend, is a waste of time.
