I am not much of a gin gal, but you can buy slow gin. Next time we meet up remind me to get you some, I think Mole Valley (the agricultural merchants ) even sell some. Remind me and I'll bring you some. I'll forget , so don't feel cheeky asking, I will remember I told you to when you have reminded me.

If we meet up I can bring some as we make it, although last year was poor for sloes and we did'nt do any so there will be a drought when OH goes shooting. My glass tonight is good and I have always thought it a shame as I have thrown the steeped sloes away.

unroll some normal condoms. Maybe fill them with Ribena

You seriously can't think of something better to fill them with?

Not to fill them with that is red (ish). Not that I want anywhere near me if its that colour. Unless beet root can impact ( dh ate dozens one day and pee'd pink but ...um...no, nothing else red. . Maybe vodka jellies. Tbh, the infertile among us don't use condoms that often...

Whilst breaking in a new hat, perchance?

    Short answer is no.

In my excitement at the discovered chance to travel home on a train with Mr S I forgot all about shopping for a hat. I only remembered when I got home.

Dinner was M&S gastropub mousaka and a bag of salad. Bought on waterloo station. It was ...not bad:o

I've seen oysters now - saw them for the first time last week when I went to that food thing. Saw the man slit them, put them in a shell, squirt stuff on them, hand them over to a customer, who ate them.

When I visited New Orleans they were sold as a common street snack but fried in batter and in a french stick (called a po'boy sanwich)

I think it is lovely that you forgot hat purchasing because you were excited that you and Mr Spirit might be on the same train :)

Although typing that - do you think it was a tactic to divert you from shopping? :rotfl:

Hmmm, It sounds a bit like we might need designated drivers when we three meet up :o

You live in Oz. You can't even trust your toilet in Oz. There might be a spider in it.

Generally it's best not to think about it.

I had a spider that was larger than my hand in a cereal box once.

The kids once came to me because there was a red back (one of the really nasty ones) sitting on the football they wanted to play with.

My MiL got bitten by a red back that was hiding under the handle of her wheelie bin. It put her in hospital for a while. I don't think the spider has recovered yet!

It's illegal to kill the poisonous spiders here. If you find one you're meant to put it in a jam jar and take it to the hospital so they can make the anti-venom. I squash 'em.
