No it's not nuts. GPs actually prefer those who don't faff around and be all bashful.0 -
Sharpie might be tricky to manipulate - how about some round small plasters?0

Hahaha, good, Thanks.
I will marker up then.
Probably not the love heart, the arrow pointing south with a wonky there be dragons' sign, or a 'not this way inclined, good news, I'm double sided!' Message. Seriously, its a good thing I never got into tattoos!0 -

I can reach everywhere I need to....I can probably turn it into a sort of game if I try hard enough......like mine sweeper...mark with the x...anything sticky might come off, where as ink......it's mine till the skin is sloughed off.0 -

. Thank you.
And the matter of the sharpie pen?:D
I certainly wouldn't do it weeks in advance! Could you not use a biro or washable felt tip the night before instead? Or how about a small plaster? Bearing in mind that things below a surface marking might move so they don't stay perfectly aligned (if that makes any sense at all)...
I think marking it out might be seen as a little 'unconventional', but if it makes you feel better then I would just do it. I'm not sure whether it would guarantee a quicker appointment though. And I have a feeling (nothing more informed) that it is fairly usual to be sent to see someone more specialised? That is not to put you off, you should definitely be getting this checked out so you can hopefully put it out of your mind.0 -

No, appt with gp is soon now. Then I can do it again next time. Not worried about a referral or anything like that. The thing last year is a particular oddity about that procedure in that hospital I think. Maybe I kept expecting daddy bear to pop out and get cross about house prices.
.
I feel a lot better for venting. Sorry to blurb it all out. A bit like lancing something, (electric or otherwise, I feel I can breath a bit easier for admitting I am not on top of the world.
I am very conscious I have a very lucky life, and I am not ungrateful for it and it seems churlish to not rejoice in that alone, and i've been feeling a little guilty about feeling down, but realistically I cannot feel joyous all the time.
It's just been a very, very. Long year! I think hormones are still not helping too:o0 -

Weather's utterly vile here - massive windy storm's just blowing up a hooley.
Makes me glad I don't own a house - else I'd be worried about bits flying off it....0
