Being a midget (well, I think officially 2" taller than a midget) .... I am currently 2 stone overweight. This is great as it means I can eat lots of chocolates and pies as the greater weight means I need more calories to maintain that weight... so, relatively, I can now put weight on slower.

    Silver linings and all that.

    :)

God I wish I could at least make use of my extra weight to that end. :(.

Generali, the horizon programme on fasting was good, better than the book, but the book should be available cheaply second hand now, or download it? There is a lot of conflicting information. The 5:2 thread here has a lot of low carbers who also five/two. It seems to suit them really well, but I did note some stuff talking about the importance of not overdoing protein percentage in diet. This seems to be particularly 'emotional' in fasters, because of course, many low carb high protein eaters find it easy as they get less hungry on low carb diets.

I am on a fast day today, and I appreciate its very lucky for me as I don't get hungry very easily, and not like a person with more 'normal' eating habits. I actually feel better on fast days in most ways, but of course for many that in itself can be a danger. I am very seriously considering tightening the regime to the Johnson up day down day method (alternate fast days) to see if that helps further. Problem is, regular fast days are easier to plan around.

I discovered I have a colleague called Atchu (and his name is pronounced like a sneeze).
    Is his first name Luke?

Where I used to live, the name Iwanko would be seen (local business I think). Had to snigger.

    Atchu is his first name.

I've not met him (yet) but his direct boss reports directly to the board of one of the biggest asset management firms in APAC. He works on the 'rocket scientists' desk.

He's very highly thought of to the extent that nobody even smirks at his name. By Crikey I find it hard not to.

When we are driving and someone cuts us up in the car DS has taken to calling out 'One car' - I think he gets it from his mother....:o

Edit: And I think I told you before that we had a nifty excercise for DD2 to help her pronounce her 'f's. Before each meal we would put down and pick up the fork a few times chanting 'Fork On!...Fork Off....'
    I think....

This Boston development is fairly awful. It must be terrifying to be there now with places shut down and one being hunted.

It's like Fahrenheit 451. They'll track him down and shoot him on live TV. And if they can't find him, they'll shoot someone else on live TV, and the face will be a bit out of focus.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Reminds me of an old piece of paper I've kept for donkey's years. It's called: The Italian Who Went to Detroit.

Since the Internet has everything, I've googled for it: http://www.jokersrevenge.com/people10.htm
