MDF is ok stuff. It does paint well ...agreed.

Yes the digital print ones. I bought 4 X 'fire'.:)

The most exciting delivery was the new bed from Warren Evans on half price. It's like sleeping on a hotel bed....I am really looking forward to going to bed ....it will be night no 4 in the new bed.

Our mattress was so lumpy and daggy. Last time we bought a mattress for here was 18 years ago I think. When we rented we had beds in the places but the last one we slept on the floor for a while then got the carved walnut bed from Ebay....DD has the mattress from that.

The walnut one has been sitting dismantled in the sun lounge since we moved back from Brighton. I think it's going to go to Margate.
    Beautiful cushions. :).

Re beds I am sleeping upside down in mine for a change of scene these days...

Fwiw people always say you have to have typed something for it o auto correct to it...it's not true. It's just as well macputer doesn't swear much though.

The thing is tha some people will still have books. Even if we hot rid of everything available digitally there would be stuff w have that isn't. Then there are the first editions ( mainly dh's.....I prefer scruffy paperbacks that look like they have been in a fight with a Ten tonne truck and lost).

I've definitely never even tried to type 'kd lang' :) (still my favourite autocorrection).

I'll be needing a few shelves. My books and CDs can be reunited and finally out of boxes/ bags . I'm definitely not getting rid of them.

I've done that! I've also tried sleeping sideways (works if you sleep curled up), or the next level up of re-arranging the room so the bed points in a different direction (more of a long term change!)

Secretly slightly dreading unpacking the CDs as then we start the old discussion about how to organise them.

I think I've said before, but I'm boring. A-Z by artist, then chronological (albums, then singles if I have any). At the moment I have about 20 CDs here/ in car so they are just jumbled as its easy to look through them :)

I used to rearrange rooms a lot.....too exhausting now. I still think its the best way to spring or deep clean though. I have a mirrored unit opposit the window now though, and wouldn't want to move that. We did try putting th bed diagnally in the room but it looked awful. Always looks great in adverts but on real life....big fat mess.

    Yeah, I sleep sideways.

Dh pretty much always sleeps diagonally.

Compilations or collaborations? That's where it stars to get tricky....

Ah ha - forgot about those. If its a series of compilations (like the Late Night Tales ones that zag )?) mentioned, they would go alphabetically (wherever e.g Late...) fitted in. Collaborations would go under the 'lead' artist. If things don't fit in well like that, they are in alphabetical order at the end of the other CDs (e.g. after ZZ Top if I had anything by them). I don't have so many collaborations/ compilations :)

Some of my favourite albums are compilations! If you look up Late Night Tales on Youtube you can have a great time!

Can I suggest that mac users try a new browser I've found, called Roccat- fastest one I've seen, especially for showing streaming videos. Don't know if there;s a windows version I'm afraid.

Or just scattered around the boot of the car (there's a 12 CD autochanger in there, and a box with CD's in there). Saying this, 9/10 times, I actually have my phone connected up, and run the music through that (posh alert?!). There's a slot for it under the front armrest, which is an iPhone dock, too, but more importantly shuts the radio up when a call comes through :)

Whilst we're on a musical note here, for the Eurovision fans, what is your favorite this year? I also have a cover photo for anyone that wants it (download and use, '© EBU (2013)' at the end please, or I get in trouble).

On a final note, before I get on with some work, I can't believe this is as old as me. I'm going to be honest, I kinda fancy her a little :o

Are any other NP going to be in Sweden?
