That sounds like me Michaels when everyone starts talking about different clothing/makeup labels.

I even thought when everyone was going on about Superdry, they were talking about a smelly, not a clothing item!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ha ha ha, me too! I am glad I'm not alone in that. Thank goodness we knew what an iPad was before it was launched though, it definitely sounded like a sanitary item in those early days.

Now there is a great product idea - all the free publicity you could want courtesy of Apple lawyers :)

I put it too you your honour, my product the 'I pad' could never be confused with an iPad; whilst it is thin, the inferior Apple product is neither flexible, absorbant, comfortable to wear nor lightly fragranced

Edit: and the latest addition to the I pad product line, the I pad mini....
    I think....

    Posh Alert

DD1 went to play at her friend's house yesterday. Friend suggested they play 'Eastenders'. DD wanted to join in but had no idea what the game was about.

Shout and argue with everyone you see, walk in and out of doors slamming them as you go.

Was your dad a celt, dare I ask?

I know lots of celts with diverse facial hair colours.

I'm one and I can't grow a full beard and moustache without looking bizarre; my moustache is very much blonder and my beard much blacker than my scalp hair. Of course it's all going grey now so it'll all converge soon.
    :D

He's not much of a celt, as far as I know. His paternal forebears all came from Northumbria, and his mum grew up in London, although whether her family all came from there I don't know. I think he had one Scottish great-grandparent, so perhaps it comes from there.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Just been checking my Gas and Electric, looks like it'll be around £1,000 total for the year, bog standard three bedroom semi. I wonder how much I'd be paying in my previous home? Grade two listed with 15 foot high ceilings

WE do 1200 gas and 720 electric each year (current prices). We do keep the house warm 24/7 with quite a few SQM and do about 8 baths/long showers per day.

That's really handy trev, thanks. Sounds like I'm paying about £100 pa more than you to be all electric. Not too bad as I don't have the CORGI maintenance costs, though granted I don't have the flexibility of gas either. A useful comparison.

D you mean can dh explain here or to them?

Dh is dealing with them, but is being very careful ATM to let them lead the pace so that he has some 'stuff to work with'. They have not responded to his response to that issue today.

Great tactic this. Give em enough rope...

One I used recently. Would have to post those details in t'other place though...;)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
