Roundtuit.. surely if you have not need it since 1987 it can all go in the bin?

My garden has been cleared of gibble so I have a spot of space in my shed and a little bit of floor reclaimed in the hallway.

I have 8 bags of returns being collected today too.. mainly prom shoes and extra bits of school uniform from us sizing things .. that will clear my big sofa! I can then start on shifting some other stuff.

I am hoping to get a chest of drawers built today so I can sort DS3's clothing and then one of the girls chests of drawers.. I will get something sorting today!

I also need to wash the remaining baby bits and sort a hospital bag or 3.. I maybe have 2-3 weeks of pregnancy left left given my track record and we are away next weekend!

2nd load of towels on line
3rd load of towels in washer - that's towels done then!
one pair of old, falling apart shoes binned
2 squash bottles and 1 cola bottle rinsed and recycled
    1st bowlful of pots washed
    kitchen bin bag binned

Most of the stuff at mum and dad's is destined for the skip pigpen - last weekend I brought home: an electric typewriter, 3 scrapbooks - 2 of Elvis cuttings, I of 21st birthday cards; a flight bag in which I found a charm bracelet both of which were 21st birthday presents; and a bound volume of Majesty magazines beginning at January 1985.( DS was fascinated by the typewriter - no screen!!!! lol That will definitely be skipped.)

Also waiting to be retrieved is a pram body and car seat a la 1992 vintage - that's easy too. Skip.

Kitchen blind (from flat I left in 2003) soiled in flood will go to skip too.

    It's a start. xx

Returns now collected.. :D I have a sofa!!! Which was a good thing because Dot came down and laid on it and demanded her nappy changing.. if she had laid on the floor I'd not have been able to reach her lol.

    6th load in washer
1st load brought in, folded and put away
    loads 2-5 on line
2 pillows taken up to DS room, pillowcases ready to wash
sorted several bags of DS clothes - some put to wash, some folded to go up to his room as I think they are clean.

I'm slowly reclaiming some space - and before anyone says DS should be doing this he knows that I cope much better if he lets me get on with it. I'm odd, he lets me be odd... although he does get frustrated at times he's laid back enough to laissez-faire.

    Hot here xx

PLEASE don't bin that, I know someone on freecycle would LOVE to take it :D and maybe some of the other things too.

I know you are probably getting overwhelmed with all the stuff but the little things really help so well done for getting on with things anyway :-D

Ooh... I cleared a window sill in the kitchen too.. moved stuff to its proper places.. filled my CS box a little more .. couple of candle holders and a set of kitchen scales... and finished filling my binbag for the bin.. with the broken pump from the fishtank I have hoarded for over 3 years.. and the ribbon from the Halloween cake 2 years ago...

roundtuit - at my mum's decluttering this weekend we binned a 'manual' typewriter - no screen - not even a plug!

We would have binned 2, but the other one is too large and cumbersome for either of us to lift!

    I went through mum's freezer - I found a steak from 1988! It's older than my kids!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
