Idris.. what did the vet say when you called at 6? Did you ask about the possibility of delaying tests a week? Is she any better?
I have flung a wally-trolley.. and a few more bits from the cupboard with 2010 dates.. if we've had them that long they aren't going to get used are they?

I've ground to a halt. Everything that I can declutter, has been. OH has done his bit but all that's left of his now is the stuff he's selling which is waiting to be sold. Free listing days permitting! So we still have boxes in the bedroom but they're manageable (on top of the chest of drawers only). Floor clear.
Next free listing day is this weekendXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

My house is unbearable again, my best friends cancer op didnt work (they cant remove it with out taking whole voice box) so its radiotherapy now, Ive been in bed ill all week so no work = no money and one of my new baby kittens (highlight of my life at the mo) collapsed this morning and is currently in the vets on a drip. Hopefully she just has an infection but she may have Portosystemic Shunt which is a liver condition or wobbly cat syndrome which is a neurological birth defect.
On top of this I took out insurance on the kittens but there is a clause saying they wont pay out if they get ill within 14 days. I took out the policy monday. the bill is £290 so far........
So sorry to hear about your friendReally hope the radiotherapy helps to shrink it and that they keep well.
Any news on the kitten? Fingers crossed its nothing too serious. It's awful about the insurance, but I'm sure you'll agree it'll be worth every penny if it gets them well again.
My youngest dog managed to break her leg before her insurance kicked in, so had to find £800 to pay for it. In the end I ended up using the money I'd saved towards my son's headstone to pay the bill. I'm currently waiting for repayment of the vet fees (over £1,000) after my oldest dog got attacked. I still need to find the £100 excess from somewhere though.Idris.. what did the vet say when you called at 6? Did you ask about the possibility of delaying tests a week? Is she any better?
Unfortuately this isnt an option - it has to be from when the illness or injury started.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

My mother postponed tests with her hound so it is an option sometimes.. definitely worth asking.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
