So, who's doing what on the dehoarding front these days?

On the areas I have cleared: these are be kept clear on an ongoing basis and the housework is improving in these areas.

Clothes: have put on weight, worn some of last year's clothes to tatters, so I will need to go through my wardrobe again and decide what replacements I need. Clothes are biggies on the emotional front.

Crafts: cupboard and boxes need a serious go through. This is quite a big job which is impacted by DD being so young, so I don't know what I will do about that yet.

I have bought bookcases and a new kitchen unit so hopefully getting those sorted will clear some floor...

I have knitted up some of my wool stash... Does that count?

I have decluttered loads and loads of paperwork, mostly my DD's stuff, my shredder packed up, so have burned everything, it's strangely therapeutic burning. :D

I will be getting rid of a kitchen cupboard as I have more room so the cupboard space I have is now enough. An old dressing table was donated as I have a new to me, pine chest of drawers. I am somewhat inundated with cat toys and a cat that only likes 2 of them. :o Got a posh wicker ball with a mouse that squeaks every time it moves...he's not the slightest bit impressed.

I bought a new shoulderbag and immediately transferred things from old bag and threw out the old one. Better yet, I decluttered the bag and threw out loads of stuff I did not need.

Once I am sure the better weather is here I am going to sort out winter things and get them cleaned and put away or else chucked out. Clothes suitable for better weather will be sorted out and what I know I will not wear will be recycled.

I'm working on little bits and pieces at the mo, as I spot them, rather than big areas now. I've just put two tops I haven't worn all winter in the cs bag.
I've just bought a 6ft square room divider thanks to whiteswings suggestion to someone else, which I think will transform how I feel open our open plan area downstairs.
Currently an eyesore on display and will now become a more private space at a 10th of the cost of the building anew wall quote I got in. (it's used as a workshop space, laundry drying space and for daily storage of DH work clobber so can't really be 'tidy') Very excited about this. We just need to put it together now but won't have time till later in the week.

After months of dithering, am also now awaiting delivery of tiles to completely redo front steps which are currently bringing the tone of the neighbourhood down as they so shabby/gap toothed. This feels like a form of de-cluttering and certainly falls into the what do I need to do to love my home' camp.

Would we be able to have photos, BB?

I could never decide if my longing for a divider was sensible or aspirational!

This is the one we've bought and are waiting to mantle:

With this room divider, I am using it essentially to replace a missing wall, rather than divide a room. I will therefore be covering up once side with material so it can't be seen through.

There will be an exactly door width gap left between the divider and the remains of the removed wall.

Two more boxes emptied and removed from the lounge :).

Eta make that three. Four more to go and I need to find a home for the sewing machine.

My DIL has a similar unit but black to the Ikea one, she bought it from there years ago, and has several cream canvas boxes, open at top and with pull handle, which fit perfectly in the cubes. She keeps the kids drawing stuff in these, and they can reach them easily and throw the stuff back in quickly when finished with it. She's got a small stereo in one cube, and books and paperwork on the rest. It looks great, and the boxes can hold/hide a multitude of things.

A small victory today, I found a conversion 'leccy plug in a drawer - continental to UK, which was bought but never used. I vaguely remembered seeing a Wilko recall on something similar, checked online - yep, it was recalled - took it in and got my money back. Something useless out! (Spent the £2.62 on groceries.)
