No pigpen, you are honouring his memory by bringing joy and sunshine in his home.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Had a busy week but not much in the way of de-cluttering other than posting stuff off. I am enjoying the slightly less cluttered environment but now need to finish off the bedroom - bit more chucking out and some re-organisation should do the job.
Need to move the clean washing upstairs today as I have managed to clear the backlog and am now doing the winter throws. Bought new plates and bowls for everyday use and thrown a big pile of well worn oddments away. Its nice to have matching things.
Pigpen sorry about the bunny. x
Sounds like every one is doing relly well - keep up the great work guys :T:T:T:T:TClearing the junk to travel light

Oh Pigpen - so sorry about Bunny. Its natural to feel sad but he had a good loving home so had a great life. Your redecorated room can be in his memory :grouphug:Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

afternoon all
sorry to hear about your bunny pigpen :grouphug: xx
i think i have been quite productive today. got round to the garage, spent about 2 hours theres, and 90% of it has been put ready for bins or tip. and a little bit that seemed ok, to go for table top sale.
a few ornaments that need a wipe over, couple of things need to see if they still work, and got a few camping chairs to sell. no idea why but we had 6/7 of them. one hubby had for if/when he went fishing and a second one for me to use if i went with him just for the quiet and read, and for when we did bootsales in the past.
im not allowed to touch hubbys fishing rods. as the first time i went with him i asked him to show me how to do it. i didnt do too bad, in about an hour i managed to catch more fish than he had all day lol. so he said i wasnt to do it again as fishing is sposed to be his thing lol.
well not sure if theres much more i can do in the bedroom till the furniture has been picked up. unless is start to take the computer desk apart. not sure if i should consider selling that and getting a slightly smaller one, or just stick with what i got. the the top for the monitor, the shelf for the tower, and shelf for keyboard, and a shelf i keep crafts cds on, dont have many and have considered selling them, as i can rarely afford the ink to print stuff off, but i do use them when i got the ink available.
well maybe i should see if there is something i can do, actually feel like i been that busy lately thati starting to feel like a spare part even tho i been looking for an idiots guide on how to make curtains, so its not like i been sitting at the computer since i got in back fromt he garage doing nothing0 -
Had a better day today - must be that shiny yellow thing that's appeared!
3 loads of washing done & line dried. Visit to gym with neighbour, DH's new sim card sorted for his phone. Booked annual blood tests for both of us, dusted hall & sitting room AND managed to repair zip in fleece, shorten DH's shorts and a dress of mine. Just going down to my little greenhouse to see if I can fathom the water timer I bought.
Phew - now I've written it all down I'm feeling quite self righteous

Glad your DH's sim is sorted. I've had a text to say my number should be ported across by end of today and just rang my mobile from my landline whilst glaring at two Nokias and the new one rang - guess my vagabonding number is now on the 3rd Nok on the 3rd different network.
Now just have to work out how it works. Have been playing with it; got in a tizz because I couldn't find the Settings screen and it turned out that the icon for that didn't fit on the main screen so way down one and outta sight.Gosh. And this has a camera and will do emails. I'll sneak up on its functions little by little or my brain will wibble and that's not good. Better plunk my besties' numbers into it first off.
Decluttering will have to go hang for a while, baby has a new toy, lol.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

GQ - one of my nephews who's a 'techie' got me to download whatsapp on my phone. You can text and send photos to your nearest & dearest (they have to have it too) but its FREE 'cos you connect via WiFi so don't have to use any of your allowances. You can also voicemail them too although I havn't tried that yet.
DH's ported number should be up and running tomorrow - fingers crossedSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
It's a whole new world. Just had a text exchange with my bestie who knew I was switching phones. It works. Like the way you can see the 'conversation' - will make more sense than some of the strange out-of-sync things I've had with my pals before now.
Lots of things to play with on the new Nok but think I'll call it a night for that at least; Rome wasn't built in a day and all that jazz. Have been home since 4 pm and still haven't had a cuppa. Had a visitor and made a phone call but no cuppa, wah.
I think I shall celebrate successful number porting by having a pot of tea and a piece of treacle tart. Nomnomnom.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

You are so rock and roll
I know. It's a Mr Kipling treacle tart bought on YS for 39p.
Because I can. And when I shopping for YS bargains after archery next week I shall probably be carrying a longbow and quiver of arrows.
