Catriona, only thing to remember with collection only is they PAY CASH ON COLLECTION,when arranging the collection tell them that they'll need to bring the cash on the day. Glad you've got a bid!

(you could email them before the auction ends and ask if they want to come and view sooner hint hint maybe to buy it that same day that way no final value fees with ebay?);)

If they do and buy it, you can then cancel their bid and end the auction early and no chance of feedback either! :D

Up to you, of course xx

Thanks thisyear, I've now sent the potential buyer a message. Will be waiting to see their response :D

My ex-MIL on being told "no thank you" would put it in a bag anyway and then try to slip it in the car as we left. Because we really did want it but were being polite.

The times my ex would stop, jump out of the car again and march up the path to put it back in her porch. And by golly did she acquire some odd stuff that we were destined to have!

    She never learned. :(

My MIL2B insists on buying bananas for me every time I go up there, or if someone's coming down to see us (she lives about half an hour away). I suppose I should be grateful for small mercies, but I have said to Mr A that he either puts a stop to it, or I'll start making banana bread and send it back up to her :rotfl:

mcculloch29, what a beauty! All those norty spots:heartpuls
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!

ooh thank you bobble_hat .. how do i find out which one to get, there are so many on the market?. fortunately/unfortunatly am on a tight budget this month,,been poorly and dont get sick pay :( so its on my wish list for when i can blast out a few more shifts in the torturous second job (ginger nutty you have my sympathy it sounds like where you work) but anyone got any top tips??

I want to make sure my floor is left dry and also its ok on my floor covering..which is not laminate but looks like a wood its called AMTICO..previous owners kept telling us how VERY expensive it was. We also live in a very hard ward area which wrecks a lot of appliances that need water..

Was thinking of doing this signing up for a trial of which magazine for 1 pound to suss them out and then cancelling before i get hit with the years subscription. Or can anyone recommend one?

I neeed to get one soon ..i am driving everyone mad lusting after one and really i should get a life :rotfl:

Snap. The doctor's just signed me off for 7 days and I've got to go back to the chemist tomorrow because they don't have my prescription.

I've been meeting sick people all over the hospital (who da thunk it :rotfl:) and I feel awful..........:(

Good luck in your quest for the perfect steam cleaner! ;)
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Been there, done that....:( :rotfl: The number of HoH patients is incredible - I lean in close as I don't want to broadcast their business across the ward! It is supposed to be confidential, after all!
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

My DH has just spread our rubbish bags (no bins here) between us and our neighbour's house, as she is in hospital. He has gone round our garden collecting all the plastic bottles, cartons and general plastic rubbish blowing around the garden for the recycling bags (4 of those) and I've collected all the junk and tat lying around and that is going (3 bags) plus the glass recycling. The bin men have cursed us over the last few months! Having no bins means we don't worry about them filling too fast, but where do you store all those bags as they fill?
