    Jordan.

No where else comes close. A country full of scamming, dodgy, horrible people and overpriced attractions.
Don't think I met a single genuine person in the whole country.

    Hated it.

    ....With Wales a distant second.

Another thread (about Miami) got me thinking. Someone said it was the single worst place they've been. I didn't like Miami that much, but it's not the worst place I've been.

Where are the worst places you have been?

First one that springs to my mind is Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. We also had a bad day (from a cruise) in Agadir. Having been back twice (also for the day on cruises on the same Itinerary), I've sort of grown to like it. Won't be going back to Sunny Beach though. :rotfl:

Snap.. Sunny beach Bulgaria... Awful awful awful Is all I can say

Torrevieja, Spain. Stayed in a villa, one of 4 sharing a green pool which had to be emptied then cleaned before it was usable, there was a cremated burger on the BBQ with fag ends around it, which we were told we had to clean if we wanted to use it - no thanks! The 4th bedroom was in the basement, which we knew, but it was really dank and cold, despite the high temps. The air conditioning didn't work properly and there were security cameras outside.

The road to the marina, which was actually quite nice, was full of graffiti, it was just horrible.

A week in Porthcawl when I was about 20 was also terrible. We stayed in my friend's grandparents caravan, which had a bucket for a loo, gas lights and we had to fill a massive container for water. It rained every day, was really cold and just awful, we came home 3 days early :D

Benidorm. Dreadful! I will never go back there.

Magaluf comes a close second. A week long drink fest? No thanks!

    Pafos,Cyprus..a total dump.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • Alcudia.. would never go back there.

Actually, Porthcawl is rather nicer and different now providing the weather is kind it can be a great place.
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)
