I'm off to use up my leftover chicken from last nights meal, I think I might do a pasta dish or a potato topped pie x

Well we had a huge buffet lunch today at work and there was a mountain of leftovers. After sending home my lil student boy with enough food to feed him and his housemates for a week :D I have ended up with about 30 cooked chicken legs.

My plan is to strip the meat and make that into a curry and then to use the bones to make some stock for soup making - anyone got any reasons why I can't do this? I'm working on the assumption that the legs might have been frozen when they were raw but have not been frozen once cooked (they came from a really good catering company we use). Should I be wary? Or am I right to be rubbing my hands together in OS glee? :D

Does anyone know if like the OP says it is ok to freeze it if its been cooked twice already? for instance I've used my leftovers for a curry but there is too much so if I freeze it can I reheat it yet again? that would make 3 times in all???

    Hi molly :)

I've added your post onto the end of a recent thread with a very similar query.

Earlier posts here also refer back to some long running threads that are full of good tips, so you'll need to read this one from the beginning to catch up.

    Good luck.
