I've been skimming a few of the other forums regarding this issue, worthy of note is this one where it discusses the citation of the case between The OFT v Ashbourne Management Services Ltd:

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?388765-Legalcare.co.uk-BEWARE-Sting-In-The-Tail!!!!/page2

This can be used as part of a defence (if necessary), or at the very least in direct correspondence with either LegalCare or their solicitors.

Actually guys I think I have got another golden idea. Recently I had to sort another thing with Ebay and was fed up with their poor customer service.
I have written on their public Facebook page, I have written the whole story, then ppl started to write their stories and liking my post, 3 days later got response from Ebay as they want to review my case now and impossible things became possible, I wonder whether Paypal has got a page like that, it might be worth trying it?

oh yes they have their page, in the end of the day Paypal is responsible for that as a payment provider so this could be my next step.

The OFT kindly referred me to this within their response to my complaint of LegalCare:

I wouldn't pay anything. Today had response from MP office and I think that will receive a call from MP soon. They are already aware about this forum.
