Hello Everyone!
I am keen to join you all on your weight loss journey, I have a lot to lose and I am keen to drop 2 stone in the next 8 weeks before I go on holiday, my first in over 2 years!
I have to make 2014 the year I am going to lose weight, having failed time and time again... let's just say I am in a better place now to concentrate on weight loss / exercise etc.
I am doing it the old fashioned way, change of diet, more exercise - so maybe finally I'll get some use out of the gym membership I signed up for last August!
Through comfort eating in December I have managed to put back on the weight I lost throughout October / November *sigh* :wall:
I feel knackered most days carrying around the excess weight I am, so I need a kick up the backside to get on track. I also am going to motivate my dad into losing weight, so both of us are on a strict diet from today... he'll probably go mad at me when he notices the 'cheese' is missing from his fridge, he's a cheese junkie, but I sneaked it out yesterday and threw it in the bin - it's for his own good!!!
I am a comfort eater, if I am down I will turn to food, and if I've had an extremely bad day I'll usually end up ordering take-away but hopefully I will turn to this thread for some support to not go down the wrong path!
I have so many clothes I want to be able to fit in to!
So a big hello from me and I hope to make some new friends along the way!DIET STARTS TODAY!0 -

Can I join in with the 5lb challenge please? I need to lose absolutely loads, but my initial target is going to be 13lbs, and even that seems pretty unachievable. I find it difficult to stay motivated for longer than a week or two, so I hope this thread will help.0

Hi and welcome to the thread.
If you're walking you might want to take a look at some Leslie Sansone videos (1 and 2 mile walks are on youtube to see if you like them or not) so that you can walk indoors when the weathers bad. She also does 3, 4 and 5 mile walks - though they tend to be a little faster but again I'm fairly sure there are clips on youtube for you to get a taster.Rubyslippers77 wrote: »Hi everyone, just catching up on all my MSE threads after going away over Xmas and being back at work last week..... please can you put me down for the 5 lb challenge, 21 hours 30 min exercise and the Angels team?

Welcome and I hope you're feeling much better - and I wish you a slower planned weight loss now that you're back to normal.0
