  • Hi everyone, I've done 2 1.5 miles walks this week and am off to the gym shortly..... surely the Diet Gods will smile on me before weigh in time tomorrow?!

Currently watching the Leslie Sansone video on youtube. Yes, I know I could be doing it, but (in theory!) my boyfriend will be home soon and we'll go to the gym. Next time I'll be walking to the beat!

I agree about digital scales by the way, although mine are giving 8lb difference in readings between different parts of the room, wondering if they're a bit knackered.....

  • Mine did that before they died. I use the Wii now

  • So considering I've only been healthy eating properly since Saturday when I got home from Holiday I've lost -3lb this week :j

I've also walked 4.5 hours this week which equates to just over 13 miles.

So I am really really happy :)

    This week's weigh-in - lost 1lb. It's a start. I'd love to report on exercise but I basically didn't do any!

    Hi,

STS since last Wednesday. My usual cycling shopping trips and indoor cycling was the exercise. Dietary-wise has been fairly consistent and am looking to improve this area. General improved health this year (for me) is most essential to complement the aims of this challenge.

    Welcome to all newbies.

GDVS - your weight loss is inspirational, well done.

I bought these scales thinking that knowing my % of fat / muscle would help. Not sure that it has really, but they are pretty reliable scales. The only downside is that they weight in lbs rather than stones and lbs, which took some getting used to.

Exercise to add to the challenge - 1 hour Bodypump, 1.5 hours ballroom dancing and 1 hour spin and abs class.

A 3 lb loss for me, which I am really pleased with.

Good luck with the weight loss this week everyone.
  • Hi

Not the best of starts as I've got a nasty cold so haven't eaten as well and done the amount of exercise I wanted but still managed to lose weight. Have lost 2lb.

Exercise wise I've done1 hour body balance, 45 min spin class, half hour jogging and 20 min aerobic programme on the cross-trainer. So about 2 hours 35 min total exercise.

Will hopefully increase that next week if I can get rid of this cold!

Well done jess444, cookie02, Dannie, tiglath and darkshines you've all done really well!
