Lose Weight 36

I've done a 2hr walk this morning. Burnt lots of calories :j and I feel really good.
Having porridge in the morning so far has kept the mid-morning hunger pangs at bay. I'm delighted.
Having a bit of a dilemma between losing weight and food budget though.
I decided that I will walk to the shops every other day, for the following reasons:
1) It's 2 hours and I will burn loads of calories.
2) It will encourage me to buy only essentials as I have to carry it all home
However, I have changed where I shop (Mr M&S instead of Mr A online) and each time the bill is £20+. At this rate I am spending more but getting less!
I'm going to persevere because losing the weight is more important and as long as I buy quality essentials like fruit and veg and not the fattening foods that I don't really need (chocs and biscuits) I think that I can adjust my meal plans and budget. Ideally tho, I need the bills to come in between £10 -£15 each time.'If you are not in the 'arena' also getting your a55 kicked then, I'm not interested in your feedback.' Thank you.0 -
I am a chocolate piggy this week oink oink
:(:o
Try to look for specials in Mr M&S - they have chicken and salmon fillets (chicken chunks are better value though) etc for 3 packs of 2 for £10 most weeks, also their fruit and veg is often reduced at around 4pm in my local one so you can get some good bargins. Plan your meals and try to make the most of everything ie if you buy a whole chicken you can do roast one day, risotto or pasta with left overs, and soup/stew/casserole the day after if you plan carefully.

I've made some adjustments to my diet, mainly reducing portion size and it seems to be paying off so far.

Sneaks back in .... a stone heavier
Hi everyone, sorry not been around lately, totally fell off the wagon. Still going to the gym, but my diet has been awful!! The sugar addiction is well and truly back.
Hoping to get back on track and at least lose the stone I have regained. I have another Mother of the Bride outfit to buy for my DD wedding in April so I need to get my act together.
Will catch up on the thread later. Hi to all the new members :T:T
Fred, if it is OK with you, I will PM my new starting weight and start from scratch in Dec.
