Hi all,
At last I seem to have got my act into gear and stopped obsessing about food and eating carp
Can you reset my weight (again!) Fred and put me down for the 5lb challenge. Will join the England Team and attempt 2 legs of the Tour de France.
Hope everyone is OK. Welcome to all newbies
Will catch up with the thread later.
Hi Jess,
Can you pm me your starting weight for the team challenge?0 -
I'm a bit confused about July's Tour de France challenge though so would appreciate some clarification off someone please...Am I right in thinking that each leg is 25km? Or am I reading it wrong...?
Just on the days when I'm motivated, I'm doing about 1 hour on my bike and my distance is around 20km...so in theory, I could almost do 1 leg a day? Surely that can't be right?!
It is right - the leg I picked was for all levels - if I picked one that was 100+km many wouldn't be able to join in.
The 25km leg was a speed trial round Nice.0 -
Have pm'd you Fred0

Fredsnail can I keep my 15lb loss to lift my spirits and to remind me the damage could have been worse if I dont get my act together?

Well in the last couple of days I have done 31km cycling for the Tour de France challenge
But as it was my birthday yesterday, and I got loads of chocolate presents it comes as no surprise that my weight has STS :rotfl:
Good luck everyone!0 -

Thanks Froddo, although it only looks that good on a Tues when I go to ballroom dancing and aqua. I have set myself a personal challenge of doing 100 hours exercise in 100 days (not consecutive) Mostly this is through bodypump and spinning. Have also dug my bike back out of the shed and cycling to the gym and back (although this weather is putting me off a bit)
Started serious low carbing on Monday to get me back into the swing of it. Weighed myself today and have lost 2.5 lb. I know it is all water weight, but I am still very pleased with that. :j
Good luck with the weight loss this week.

STS since last Wednesday.
fredsnail - I've decided to just include gardening exercise time for the Tour De France challenge please. So far 1 hour and 26 minutes.
Hopefully better weather is coming and the challenge will encourage me to do many needed gardening tasks. Thanks.0 -
