Thanks for the Charts and inspirational quote Fred
I'm going to keep climbing to the top of Everest, so please keep tracking.
Also how does the tour de France work?
The tour de France will work the same as this months Silverston challenge - you log what activity you do (distance if it can be measured by distance, and time for other things like aerobics or yoga) and I'll convert the times into distance to give you an overall distance.0 -
ok thanks Fred, can you put me down for Tour de france as well as continuing with everest please. I will aim for somewhere around 1 & 1/2 legs just to be awkward lol not sure i will get as far as 2Word for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗0

Hi mcjordi
If you're eating less and exercising more than chances are you will be losing weight even if you can't see it/feel it. I've lost almost a stone and can only tell by the feel of my clothes so that might be a good way to judge it. I measure my waist across my belly button but I don't know if that's the correct way, it's just the easiest for me.
Good luck with the treadmillI know when I first started exercising, I could only manage a very short time but the key is to build up slowly - either time you spend on it, or distance you run. I like to increase my time each week by a little bit (although I've gone off the rails lately as I've been feeling under the weather but I'm back on track now) :j

just done 10 minutes on treadmill and i am goosed.. gonna break up my sessions into 10 minute chunks over the day..
ive measured accross my belly button and have for sure lost 2 inches..
edit- yeah i havent done as much as i like this week mainly down to the fact my foot swelled up like a balloon for no reason.. now sort of back to normal..
the treadmill is mine for as lol as i need it as its got it out of my sisters way (it was in the garage gathering dust)Sealed pot challenger # 10

Well done to those recording exercise the last few days. Had my best day so far. Been thinking about trying running for months (well, years) and today I just got off my bum and did it! so 3.5 miles to add. Also did my trouble zones DVD this afternoon so also 1 hour to add from that. Legs are hurting a bit now and I'm sure I'll ache in the morning but a good feeling to have tried something different.
Going to be naughty and have a bit of chocolate tonight but think I've earned it!0 -
Looking good Nicky Noo Na

Poor week on the exercise front for me, had a lot on the last few days but the weight loss was good with a whole 7 pounds gone for a total of 123. A meager 7.5km on the treadmill though, must improve that this week and sign me up for Tour de France please.
Sadly I need to go back to level 2 of the Jillian Michaels weight loss, the treadmill automatically cut out on me today when my heart beat went up past 175 so I'll repeat level 2 and see where I go from there.
At the halfway point of the year that leaves me 75 pounds to go to hit my 2013 target, or a little under 3 pounds a week.0
