    Hey guys,

Thanks Beanie, Nicky and Donna :D

Well I'm feeling better today and am back on track. Still not started Everest yet :o I've got a long night ahead though, fuelled by about 2 litres of energy drink, lol, so I should be able to make a good start! My eldest has recently got an insulin pump and in order to fine tune it, I've got to monitor him over night by checking his blood sugars every 2 hours until 7am! Not looking forward to it, but he's going camping with his Cub Scouts group next weekend so I want to get it done before then.

Has anyone tried Tesco diets? My mum's just signed up and wants me to do it with her. I don't always get along with diet plans as a lot of the meals are boring and overly 'dietey', but if it's pretty flexible I'm considering giving it a go.

I'm finding that I'm veering towards low carb eating a lot more now. I've never been overly keen on bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, etc anyway, it's the sweet stuff that's let me down, but I'm definitely finding it easier to resist that now too - even chocolate! I think that because I'm not doing it too strictly now it's easier to stick with.

Anyway, enough rambling for now, lol, I'll be back later when I've got something to add to Everest!

Thanks for the charts and "well done" fredsnail. Also, thanks
donna73 for the "well done". I see that you are already nearly a quarter of the way in completing the Everest Challenge; that seems good progress. Not a strong stair climber myself. My Silverston challenge has slowed down due to the compost being too soggy to sort out plus being "attacked" by midges.

Curry on Saturday night...barbecue on Sunday...not surprising I only lost 1lb this week. 23.77km walked/jogged for the Silverstone challenge.

Week four of couch to 5k is unfunny, going from a longest interval of 3 minutes to 5 minutes hurts. Had to slow to a walk for the last two minutes of the final interval as my legs were wrecked, I get the feeling I might have to repeat this week as even thinking about week five fills me with dread.

Tropical strength insect repellant will work in the short term and if it's a longer term solution you need some people suggest taking vitamin b1 suppliments.

Phew, feeling a little delicate after last night, lol. Tiredness is a killer, especially when you're sleep deprived anyway! :(
Had a couple of vodka and (sugar free ;)) energy drinks with a friend before carrying on with the energy drinks alone. I managed to last until about 6.15am before starting to doze off! Luckily I had set an alarm set for the last blood sugar check. I've also got a fair few steps to add to the Everest challenge, yay! :D Will post it another day as can't be bothered to go and see how many it was :o.

I think the diet will have to go on hold tonight as I just need to curl up in a snuggly duvet, eat comfort food, and watch the BGT final! :o I'll make up for it tomorrow as I've promised my eldest that we can have a Just Dance night on the Wii.

-3lbs this week, feeling much better! Won't be weighed on Saturday as I will be at Download festival doing my best to avoid bad food. :)

Just had my check-up at the gym, so I can finally post an updated weight. I'm now down to 118 kg. 2 kg lost in 3 months. Not as much as I wanted, but it's still going in the right direction.
