I have spent the entire day eating carp as it's Grandad's 101 birthday today so snack food aplenty.
Well MFP has carp at 162 calories per 100g so that's not bad, only slightly more than trout.

I am ecstatic to report a loss this week of 3 lb:j

Thank you to everyone who reassured me that it would happen eventually!

I have been looking at body types this week and have found that I am an endomorph which have a tendency for 'roundness' ... and that they are often very sensitive to spikes of insulin which make them more likely to develop diabetes!!! They are often intolerant to white carbs so this week I have swapped to brown rice and brown sugar, and next week will be switching to brown bread and pasta. It explains a lot actually as I LOVE carbs... oh well.

On the exercise front, I have managed 7.5 hours of cycling.

    Good luck everyone!

STS for me this week - could be worse, I suppose, lol! Feeling really motivated now so hopefully I'll see a good loss next week :)

    Hello,

    - 1lb since last Wednesday. Consequently, staying around the same for sometime now. Doing the 5lb challenge shows no progress apart from not having an upward trend which used to be how I was. A "very lot" of exercise every week seems to be required. Don't know whether less calories are possible.

As for the exercise challenge, + 5 hours and 48 minutes (just gardening time). Still doing indoor and outdoor biking. Wish the weather would be better!

    Good Luck.

Well done Debrac! Sounds like a successful week :j

Also well done to the others who've just posted too, you have all done better than me! A week of no exercise (due to pulled muscle) and not eating the best (meals out and lots of snacking) have led to another gain this week. Don't even want to post how much! Back on some gentle excerise tonight and NO SNACKING except fruit - well, i'll try.......

    Will weigh again next week

    Hi all,

Lolly, glad to hear you are getting back on track. I am trying hard to cut down on the carbs but have to admit I am struggling at the minute.

Another STS for me this week. Sorry Fred, feel I have well and truly let the May Queen team down this month :o

No exercise last week as I pulled a muscle in my back. Back to the gym this week so 1 hour Bodypump, 1 hour Spinning, 30 minutes swimming and 1 hour Aquafit to add to the challenge.

Glad to hear your Granddad is feeling better Fred and agree 101 years is definitely a cause for celebration :)
