    Bad week for me :(
I've been eating between 1750 and 1850 calories per day and have had a couple of days with only minimum exercise and 5 days with my normal 1.5 hours but somehow I have managed to gain the 1/2lb I lost last week :o
Exercise this week 7.5 hours of cycling :)
Don't know what to try next...or should I stick with the increased calories and/or increase my exercise back to 10+ hours a week? I can feel my motivation slipping... :(

I'll pm you a link in a bit that may help explain what's going on with your body.

Wow, just read your link and it has mentally helped me so much so a huge thank you :j

I am so impatient and really struggle with the fact that I can't lose 7lbs a week like I used to 20 years ago...:rotfl:

Ok, I'm going to stay focussed this week and not give up :)

30 minutes to add on the excercise front but unfortunately another +0.5lb on for me today despite regular workouts and not eating too badly. Need to up the ante!

Ooh Tupperware Queen, who did you meet?

Getting back in control of my eating, but still a STS please Fred. Oh well better than a gain I suppose. Beginning to feel my energy return now that I have cut down on the carp again. It shows how addictive food can be, that I carry on eating it even when it makes me feel yuk!

Exercise for the last few weeks - 3 hours walking, 2 hours spinning, 1 hour bodypump, 1 hour swimming and 30 min Metafit tonight (very short class but I was shattered when I finished)

Good luck with the weight loss this week everyone.

I met the Duke of Gloucester - he is the Queen's cousin. I am on the board of my housing association, and he came to open our extra care facility for older people. He was a very charming man, and spoke to each and every person. The old ladies were funny though, not at all impressed by the glitz and glamour, and mainly annoyed that their regular routines were being interuppted!!

I'm in a much better frame of mind today! :) I was seriously fed up yesterday but woke up this morning and the sun is shining and I'm feeling very positive so I hope I can maintain this mood all week :rotfl:
Even though I'm not losing weight at the moment :( I feel so much fitter than I think I ever have done :A

My exercise bike tells me the calories I'm burning, the distance I'm cycling and the time I'm taking to do it and this last couple of weeks I am cycling further and further in less time so I'm trying to focus on getting fit rather than beating myself up about how heavy I am...

Wishing everyone good luck for this next week

A good week for me, 5 pounds lost bringing the total to 99 pounds (7 stone 1) which is exactly halfway between where I was in January and what I weighed when I was 18 (goal 1). According to Endomondo I've racked up 16.65km on the treadmill and real world walking in the last week which has to have helped.

As well as the Gillian Michaels [STRIKE]torture[/STRIKE] weight loss programme I set up week one of the C25k in my iFit workout schedule for the treadmill and managed to get through it without dying, I haven't run for 60 seconds consecutively for...well, probably over 20 years. 4 months ago there's no way I could have done it, rather pleased that I can now.
