  • Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been on here much for the past few weeks. We started IVF treatment a few weeks back and the weight loss has taken a back seat, I'm afraid - initially because the tablets I was on made me feel very sick, and now because I can't go to the gym  I've been going to the gym regularly for over 10 years, and now to take the advice that it's better not to (only gentle exercise is recommended) is very tough!

I hope everyone else's weight loss journeys are going well :j

Good luck with the IVF ruby. Must be a stressful thing to go through. One of my motivations for losing weight is to improve my fertility and general health before trying for a baby.

I'm -1.2lbs this week, phew. I feel like it's been tough to achieve that small loss. Battling with a plateau at the moment. I think I need to be really strict with myself to overcome it.

    Hi everyone,

Last week was a struggle and then Tuesday, I just made a worse mess by overeating. I have just used the bike twice locally to buy presents, done the usual indoor biking and have been working upon some garden tasks.

I just seem disinterested/unmotivated perhaps in doing the usual activities that were uplifting e.g. outdoor biking, although the gardening does seem nice, especially when "little robin" nearby watches, sings and later "inspects" what I have done. Don't know if my "fighting spirit" has nearly gone (or maybe on hold) which is unlike me.

So folks, no weight recording today. Hope that's okay until perhaps the last Wednesday of this months challenge when I'll post. Next Wednesday? Or is it the one after fredsnail? Thanks.

    Thanks for the congrats :)

Dannie, the last Wednesday is next week for the weigh-ins and team challenge. I'll keep logging the exercise until the last day of the month so the final chart for the exercise challenge will be the Wednesday after.

My fitness pal app is the best thing i have ever used for weight loss and its free. you can count calories and see if youve eaten enough good stuff really quick
It also hooks in to mapmyride (and sister-apps mapmywalk and mapmyrun).
So any exercise you've tracked with the mapmy... apps gets automatically pulled into myfitnesspal :)
